Ce mod ne touche ni n'utilise les pièces de torpilles ; il utilise des pièces HEMissiles et TCMissiles normales.

The new infrastructure for status application (heat > fire > cool/scorch) is clever.
The new weapon options (TCM's and the Lance) are neat to play with.
Once you get the hang of building ships that can handle and correctly dispose of their heat it feels great. I also like that it's all optional. Some pre-meltdown designs can still destroy even OC'ed stuff.
I don't really want to get into a lengthy discussion about it here, but I'm a fan of the update - even more so as the mods all slowly catch up. :)
He (Ultranova) is fully welcome to take anything from this mod and port it back into GA, including all the new code and sprites that I've made. This is the only way I can really say thankyou to them for letting me port it out of GA originally.
This mod already does what I want it to do. Internal Silo or Single Tube missles/canisters.
I'm open to idea's though, but keep in mind I try to keep things balanced around vanilla

I have no issues with that as long as credit and links are given.
BUT, this mod itself was a "port" out of Galactic Allegiance and you should really check there if permission to use the assets is given :)
I love that mod and use it myself, but I'm not sure how it would 'fit' into the tube style, or how to do the sprite-work. Like the standard 4 missile parts here stack "upwards" to fire out from the roof, how do I add extra layers into that sprite-animation based on received buffs? Where do you even 'extend' the imagined vertical tube?
I'm confident that someone will figure out the answer to these questions.. I just don't think it will be me :) .. sorry

That sounds cool, but would take a lot of sprites/animation to get an open/extending close/retracting weapon .. and it would be purely visual

With the way the hatches open and close, is there a way to make the guns retract? like having an animation just like your torpedo hatches that activates, as soon as you enter combat and triggers the retract sequence when you exit combat again?
I would try to come up with something like that myself but its way out of my league to write a mod like this right now.
If you think this is a viable idea for a mod i would love to subscribe to it one day :D
(I did consider both Nukes and EMP though. )

Although I believe JaniTNT might be working on something like that ;) Can't make any promises for another persons work though .. maybe you should drop by the Cosmoteer discord and see what is brewing in the modding thread :)
