@philmarghetto There is currently no difference between this and the stable version; they're exactly the same (quite literally, at the moment they're the same upload).

This is for testing. It is NOT here to subscribe to if you're having any issues. It's for experienced testers only, and user support is not provided here.
philmarghetto 26. feb. 2023 kl. 7:05
Same problem here as with the stable version; loads up to the end of the loading screen process and then freezes and doesn't respond, rather than actually loading up. Will send you the output log so you can see what I mean.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 30. jan. 2023 kl. 18:58
Updated translations and added some new curated images.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 9. jan. 2023 kl. 20:21
Now testing version 1.1.3:
- Asset report filename is no longer localized (to facilitate automatic bundling of logs via Compatibility Report)
- Missing networks are now displayed in red on loading screen scroll
MitchellATL 29. dec. 2022 kl. 13:02
Thanks Algernon! It finally started working on the new city.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 29. dec. 2022 kl. 2:36
@mitchellatl If you enabled those options - you can't. You just have to wait until the city naturally regenerates citizen instances and vehicles.
MitchellATL 28. dec. 2022 kl. 11:06
If we used the safe mode, how do we get the people and cars back?
algernon  [ophavsmand] 21. dec. 2022 kl. 4:39
Now testing version 1.1.2:
- Fix simulation recovery options not reverting after use
- Update options panel layout to make missing net recovery more explicit
algernon  [ophavsmand] 19. dec. 2022 kl. 2:49
Now testing version 1.1.1 :
- Fix NullReferenceException when toggling background image options due to missing random imgur option
- Add more curated background images

I will not give you the pleasure of feasting and wait for the stable version!!!
BillyShabindigo 9. dec. 2022 kl. 20:51
Can confirm: I downloaded and Musk shut down my workplace :steamfacepalm:
Mulligan 8. dec. 2022 kl. 4:54
I have verified MCM and Seaside are back. Thanks for all your work.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 19:36
Updated to fix issue with Mid-Century Modern and Seaside Resorts CCP level identification.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 19:25
@Mulligan That last bit was the clue... it's not an issue with skipping, it was an issue with the CCP loading (the keys for those two CCPs were missed).
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 17:21
@Mulligan Thanks, that's a useful piece of info; I'm investigating.
Mulligan 7. dec. 2022 kl. 17:19
I went back to the stable loading screen mod and loaded the game without the skip file and MCM and Seaside came back. I then unsubscribed from stable and subscribed to the test loading screen mod and loaded the game without the skip fil. MCM and Seaside are missing. Its like it is holding it in memory.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 16:53
@Mulligan Cool, thanks.
Mulligan 7. dec. 2022 kl. 16:50
I sent the original file. I was able to replicate the issue again.
-Subscribed to the loading screen test
-Loaded the same map with everything in the skip file (Everything was removed)
- Changed the name of the skip file (shouldn't skip anything) and MCM and Seaside didn't reappear.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 16:25
@Mulligan Thanks, but I'm trying to troubleshoot the issue, which means I need the original stable state, and now I'm quite confused as to what's what.

Which is the file that you had immediately after your first comment?
Mulligan 7. dec. 2022 kl. 16:13
@algernon I had it commented out originally. This morning to replicate the issue I just deleted all the buildings. I must have accidentally deleted the comment. Seaside resorts was having the same issue and it is commented out. Right now I have two files. The second file doesn't change. I just copy from it. If I want to remove a building or two in a group I will just comment them out. If I want all the buildings I will just delete them and keep the header.
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 15:27
@Mulligan I note that you've got "Mid Century Modern" still in that skip file. That would normally be commented out as a header, but is not in this case. A mistake when you were changing comments?

Is this the original skip file, or is this the one after removing instead of commenting out? If so, that's no good - can you repost the original before you made any changes?
Mulligan 7. dec. 2022 kl. 5:42
https://ufile.io/f/jamru

Also provided the loading screen reports with the stable version and test version
Replicated this morning and instead of commenting them out I just removed the buildings from the skip file
algernon  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2022 kl. 4:33
@Mulligan Please post your skipfile for me to have a look at, as well as your output log from after loading with this version.
Mulligan 7. dec. 2022 kl. 4:27
Last night I skipped several buildings, networks and trees, etc. Everything worked as expected. I then commented out the mid century modern and seaside resort buildings and they did not reappear.
- Changed name of skip file (wasn't skipping anything) mid century and seaside did not reappear. Most stuff did come back.
- Unsubscribed from loading screen test version and MC and Seaside buildings returned
- Subscribed to loading screen test version and the MC and Seaside disappeared again
- Unsubscribed from loading screen test and subscribed to loading screen stable and they came back
StayHungryStayFoolish 6. dec. 2022 kl. 13:52
Yes, Master.
Chamëleon TBN 6. dec. 2022 kl. 13:44
@StayHungryStayFoolish - not at all :D LSMR already do similar if you activate "Try to recover from simulation errors" ... now it's just adding skipping of Vanilla Network Prefabs... RON is RON and completely different :) .... a lot of things you have still to learn young Padawan ;)
Mulligan 6. dec. 2022 kl. 12:54
This works great. Thanks!
StayHungryStayFoolish 6. dec. 2022 kl. 9:39
"There's an inbuilt safety mechanism for network prefab skipping to automatically exclude the 'special' in-game invisible networks required for basic building functionality. Any networks in use on the loaded map will also be excluded from being skipped (in the same way that building skipping works)." - This is pretty close to the functions of RON
Chamëleon TBN 6. dec. 2022 kl. 8:24
What have this to do with RON @StayHungryStayFoolish ?
StayHungryStayFoolish 6. dec. 2022 kl. 5:25
RON features will be inside of LSMR, soon!!! Wow. Thx, algernon.
