So in order :

-I don't know for the first mod but highly improbable without a submod that get's the animations of both mods to play out.
- Ziocru has made a compatility mod with his animations and matched combat (don't know if it's still working though)
- As for the last mod you mentionned, it only adds new units to my knowledge so it should be fine, (just...the dark elves don't have many match-ups with animations to begin with in Matched Combat so you might not see the animations at all unless you stumble upon these specific match-ups).

would this mod conflict with more_variants_dwarfs_anim_sub, ZC ANIMATION MOD and Spooky's Dark Elves Compilation - Expanded Variants ? also can it be installed and removed mid game?

Hey, I was a skyrim mod author, and I've spent a lot of time modding this game for my personal use, including updating this mod. The animations work, it has the animations from the latest patch, and the ranged units function as intended (i also updated the reloading sub-mod so i could use both)

Defintely not gonna share it without permission, but if you're interested I can make the file available for y'all to share. Side note, I probably wasn't doing it in an optimal way but my god was it time consuming lmao. Feel free to dm or post a comment I'll check back in a while

Cathayans don't have new animations (but they can be victims of the orcs and chaos warrriors one)

I dont see the animation activating when i play cathay, is it supposed to be like that?

Only the animations imported from Total War Troy have this issue, and they don't always trigger. But it does indeed mean that any lords that has them doesn't do as much AOE damage that they usually do without it.

So this nerfs lords into the ground and makes them useless since they cant AOE right? any ETA on fixing that?

ok, testing and...nope...still working fine on my end.
I don't know what mods you used besides Matched Combat or what match-ups you've set up to say that the mod doesn't work, but i still have the duelling and execution animations on Imperial swordsmen mirror matches (best way to see if you have the mod active by the way).
