Ну, для новичков неплохо, чтобы примерно понять какой радиус у взрывов, но потом когда освоишься - только мешает. Особенно в комнатах с кучей взрывных мух.

does this and other mods like watch out laser count as cheating, it just doesnt seem right besides certain instances like the bloat's brimstone beams or hard to notice attacks with the coming down mod

The thing is, I use pure too, so technically I shouldn't have this either, pure doesn't seem to be affected (besides not having a requirement)
So it comes from somewhere else, but where, good question

anyway, I'll look for it, I'll tell you if I find something, maybe it will help others

I haven't really looked into that, but I'm pretty sure it's just because of the way MCMC operates? Like regardless of how you use it in your mod, it shouldn't be used at all because of hacks it implements.
Could also be not working solely for people who have MCMC installed. Good thing you don't have an actual mod requirement. Still, I'd be wary.

Same with coming down and watch out laser, but they don't have that problem.

if your mod has MCM continued dependency then yeah it'll most likely break

So yes, if you have problems with any of the mods (laser/coming down/remembrall), from what I understand it could be MCM continued, try installing pure instead and/or removing that one.
Maybe that would help, in any case, I'll try to see on my side if it's me and where it comes from.

It seems strange to me, because nothing should be in common with it.

If this is indeed coming from one of my mods (the structure, variables etc are almost the same for all of them), frankly, I have no idea where it could come from or how to fix it...

Yes, there is an option to change the opacity of the effects in general, if you only want to change the outer ring, no unfortunately.
The inner effect and the ring are not two separate entities, so it is impossible to change only that

thank you SO much for this. If you ever need an idea for another mod like this, it would be pretty nice to see a warning for those annoying random rock paths that emerge from the ground whenever something stone-like slams down on it. keep up the good work!!

this is actually really useful since if your on half a heart and trying to blow up a tinted rock and not knowing your standing in the blast radious and thus killing yourself and this has happened to any player at the least once its happened to me twice
