I think we have this problem quite often and the problem is you need either more meat or more salt or something. Usually it's just that we have not enough of 1 ingredient. It takes a full item of salt and I believe large chunks of meat
Edit: Noticed its doing the same thing for tallow.
We wanted a really hard survival experience with insanely rare resources but this mod spawns literally thousand units in every building. It feels more like cheating than survival. :/
Do you mean Jars?
recipe Create Can Sealer
{
ScrapMetal = 1,
MetalPipe = 1,
BlowTorch=5,
keep [Recipe.GetItemTypes.WeldingMask],
Category:Welding,
Result:CanSealer = 1,
Time:400.0,
SkillRequired:MetalWelding=5,
NeedToBeLearn:true,
}
So Smushed food for Biogas for example takes 100 units and provides 2 hunger each, and so you would need 50x fresh ones.
I tested it and it looks like you need 50 ethanol wort items (each has 2 units). But it will look gray in the crafting menu, which is confusing - make sure you have everything else needed (enough water, yeast etc.) and then you should be able to craft it once you get 50 ethanol wort items. Same logic applies to vinegar wort - it says 50 units, meaning 25 items, and it will always look like you don't have enough unless you also have everything else you need.
recipe Make Wooden Barrel
{
LeatherStrips=20,
Wire=10,
Plank=10,
keep [Recipe.GetItemTypes.Hammer],
Result:WoodenBarrel,
but you might need to right-click on the wire when you have all the items?
It would be so nice
Love the mod by the way and thanks for your hardwork
(btw its good that evaporated milk has less calories irl, because thats what im going to be eating with me christmas puddings next month)
Icon = CannedCondensedMilk_Open,
i think that does have alot of calories due to all the sugar though
recipe Stomp Salt Rocks to Salt
SaltRock=10,
keep RippedSheets=5,
keep [Recipe.GetItemTypes.Hammer]/Log/MetalBar/HandAxe/Crowbar/Axe/WoodAxe,
but i think regular salt should work too - what if you try searching more houses for salt (or add a trading mod to let you buy some and then try rightclicking on a meat to start off the evolved recipe chain? fingers crossed it might work for you :)
Looking at everybody else asking the questions I'm having myself, I'm starting to think there should be a guide to this mod. The systems feel a bit too advanced to just wing it."
spoon has made lot of cool mods, and the crafting helper mod has helped me if i got stuck, showing me more info like what items go with what.
the only thing that took me more time to learn, was when adding most of spoon's mods in the mod manager, because i think none of the mods actually have "spoon" in the title, and it took me ages to flick back and fourth to see which mods to add :)
(btw spoon loves or hates fast growing trees) but hasnt commented here recently - spoon you're cool :)
10 pieces of one type. The recipe is written incorrectly there, pieces are needed, not quantity. For example, for fish you need 60 units of any fish, and for mushrooms 10 pieces of one type of mushrooms.
I use a saucepan to make it but then what?
