With Ideology, my Ferian pawns are never happy with themselves when it comes to changing their appearance. Specifically, they only have one beard option and I've never seen it be one they approve of having.

Is it possible to remove the "thin" body gene for the Ferian as a default xenotype? Since this was based on the now discountinued HAR race, I noticed there are body skins for male and female, and it feels painful to only see thin body on this.

@2ScoopsPlz It could be that your faction has exceeded the game limit, or that you're in conflict with another faction. I work well here.

i keep having an issue where the pawns body layer is infront of the head layer and its really annoying

Hiya! just wanted to drop this here:
there's some kind of issue with caravans from the Ferian faction getting a spamming error log for "Exception while ticking lord with job Rimworld.LordJob_TradeWithColony: System.NullReferenceExeption: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
whenever a trader from any other faction arrives there is no log like it.

it does not break the ability to trade, it just degrades performance for the time the caravan is on the map.

in addition it also seems to not like working with the new Dismiss trader option. they will hang around even after being dismissed until they would have left naturally.

Not sure what it is, and I'm sorry for not being able to provide a log, but this mod's faction consistently breaks world generation so that very, very few factions appear on the map. Disabling the faction before generation immediately fixes the problem.

every single member of this faction is invisible to me XD
not only that but anything standing too close to them also turns invisible until the camera moves away. Other pawns, animals, builds that arent done yet... all vanish into the ether unless the ferian is either on the very edge of the camera area or just not on the map anymore >_<
its like the whole species has a "stop perceiving me" field around it.

Ferian pawn requests to change his appearance? I tried disabling it, but gave up when I realized I would have to patch the entire Tick with Harmony. Patching it causes a huge performance hit.

Could we please not have the ferianskin cause different headwear requirements? yeah I get it cause different head shape and big ears, but the inability to use headwear is a pain in the ass, especially with mechanitors and any combat pawns

Out of curiosity will you ever make it so when the Ferians give birth they're actual babies instead of full grown adults? It's kinda weird seeing full grown adults being born after a ferain gives birth LOL

The simplest way is to use the HAR version. Honestly, the fact that HAR races with different genotypes come out is a bug of that race.

Heya,
i keep getting issues where Ferian are spawning as non-humans and really messing up textures. for example i've had them spawning as "Neko" "Avali" and "Moyo" and be nothing but pink boxes. or with massive uncoloured tails or ears from other races. is there a way you can restrict Ferians to spawning as Humans with the Ferian Xenotype?

The mod required for pawnmorpher is HAR. Therefore, the HAR version of Ferian is recommended rather than this mod.

There is a conflict with this mod and the pawnmorpher mod. anytime I have both installed at the same time and I try to make the ferian xenotype, their face is always a dark color and cant be altered. Just like to let you know.

I hope you can add a raider/pirate version of the faction. Another to ask is what if i had both ferian race and biotech version together, would it break the game/ character/ model? Also, i triied to play the HAR version currently, and it broke my game since i cant enter my map. It just sends me to main menu. Maybe bug with biotech. So for now, i will stick to this one for now.

Unsurprisingly, Facial Animation changes the image of the head. Unlike HAR, it is normal for the Biotech version to have a head change because the race is human. I don't care about that mod, and that mod probably doesn't care about my mod either.

Hey I found a conflict with this mod, and another popular mod. If you use the [NL] Facial Animation - WIP mod with Ferian Race, it removes the Ferian Race face, and makes it a normal human head instead of how it should be. I did a lot of testing and only used that mod plus this mod, and can confirm this is whats causing the issue. Any chance we can get this patched so they work well with one another? I mean aren't Feirans technically xenohumans? I suppose integration into biotech's systems make the most sense rather than making them "aliens non-humans".

Regardless, this is nice to have a nicer looking anthro people in the game beyond ytkan and better designed cat/wolf boy/girls... that I DO use but still. So thanks to you bichang!

Headless bugs are HAR bugs. If you have HAR installed, use the original version.
