Sorry, it was an old description. It's been updated. It was once designed to to surface-to-surface attack roles, but it has issues about the "projectile weight" requirement as required by the engine. If it was set to mass of the photons, which is naught, it will bug out.

How is it no one has made laser cannons for primary weapons yet? Also given this is a CIWS can it actually engage surface targets? I dont think I have seen it shoot another ship and I am pretty sure I cant set it to a manual/automatic weapon.
