Just out of curiosity, do you plan to combine your 3 mods (l4d1 materials and sounds, pistols and the sfc for charger, jockey and spitter) ? It would be awesome to have them all 3 in 1 mod

@Dejavu I don't see much point in doing this, this addon that you sent there, is the same proposal as mine, the difference is that it is not limited to just the game's campaigns, it should work on custom ones, but it probably only works on a local server, mine works online too. There are differences in models too, but that doesn't matter that much.

@PepsiMax Thanks for testing and warning about this. This mod is supposed to be Vanilla, so it doesn't matter much to have these compatibility with reanimations. There are also many other L4D1 Pistols mods reanimated and ported to animations from other mods in the workshop.

Just wanted to report that this mod doesn't seem to work with the Dynamic Pistol Animations mod. Not expecting any compatibility fix, just wanting to let other players know beforehand so it doesn't cause any confusion.

Alright so I DID have an audio mod enabled that replaced some footsteps (which shouldn't be an issue, but I went ahead and disabled it anyway for a sanity check) and the issues were still happening. Also tried to change some of my sound settings, no luck there either.

I double checked to see if its not just something in the sound itself, so I went ahead and applied some Fade to "pistol_slideback_1" and "pistol_clip_out_1" near the start of the sounds in Audacity and it actually fixed the popping/clicking. Not sure why its not happening on your end, but atleast for me applying a bit of Fade to those two sound files fixed it.

@Dissy EX Well, here it is normal, I didn't notice anything strange, the customized sounds that come with it are from the L4D1 pistols, nothing more. If there is something strange for you, perhaps it could be another addon causing conflicts or some that messes with the sounds of weapons or pistols.

I noticed a couple small audio quirks with this:

- There is an audible pop/click when you switch to the single 1911 (something to do with the slide sounds?)

- There is also an audible pop/click when you reload the 1911 (single only, seems to happen with the mag out sound.)

These seem to not happen if you're rapidly switching weapons, not sure why.

@spidergrear Addons made for L4D1 campaigns have mission files so that they only work in L4D1 campaigns, which is why the game warns of conflicts, but, just ignore it and it works normally, the description already has the warning.

@johndale992 L4D2's smg is the same as L4D1's, but a little more detailed, so I don't see much point in doing that, but if you want this type of addon, it already exists in the workshop.

I ran into a very odd bug with this, where the game basically refused to spawn a second pistol for me. If I was holding a melee weapon it would sometimes give me back a single pistol, but otherwise I only ever saw melees or magnums.
