Oh right, yes. The pictures are a little out-of-date. Some update to the base game changed all the colours on the clothes, so I had to go through the characters and make some changes.

Very great mod! One small thing: in my game, the characters are not dressed like in your pictures, even with only this mod activated. Is it normal?

@Alex the Great Yes. That's the closest bookmark to when Robin Hood is generally portrayed as having lived, so that's where I put everything.

This is only for the 1178 campaign?

@Thormaxmillian Yes. Did CK3 get another update that I missed? Otherwise, it should be up-to-date and compatible with the current version.

Ironically, Herne the Hunter actually is in the public domain. He's an old legend mentioned at least as far back as William Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor" from 1597.
However, he didn't have a connection to Robin Hood until "Robin of Sherwood".

I think you should stick to the public domain characters. But if you don't a character I would love to see would be Herne the Hunter from the 80s Robin of Sherwood series.

We need the Morgan Freeman one.

@OwnGoal99 As for the Muslim friend, "Non-Errol Flynn" is a weird way to phrase that, but I guess the Errol Flynn movie is one of the few modern adaptations that don't include a Muslim friend. But if I were to include the Muslim friend, the question would be: Which one? Azeem from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves? Nasir from Robin of Sherwood? Ahchoo from Robin Hood: Men in Tights? Kemal from New Adventures of Robin Hood? Djaq from the 2006 TV show? And then of course we have the 2018 movie, which turned Little John into a Muslim.

The problem is that since there aren't any Muslim members of the Merry Men in the original stories, all of these adaptations have had to make up their own, and then the creator of that adaptation owns the copyright for that Muslim friend, so the next one will also have to make up their own.

It's easier to just stick with the characters that are in the public domain.

@OwnGoal99 Yes, the Merry Men are included, at least the ones that are most prominent in the old ballads and Howard Pyle's re-telling (I have chosen Howard Pyle's book as a jump-off point due to how closely it adapts many of the older ballads while still combining them into a coherent narrative).

With the release of the Roads to Power DLC, I decided to do a big overhaul of this mod. Having Robin Hood as a landless adventurer makes much more sense than a landed noble. Also, with the introduction of the new 1178 start date, the More Bookmarks mod is no longer needed as a prerequisite.

@LewisMandela2001 Yes. The relevant start dates don't exist otherwise. That's why it's listed as a prerequisite mod.
