This caused a freeze for me. I know it's this mod because it's the first freeze I've ever had and it happened immediately after subscribing to this. I'm also using Diplomacy, No Sword Sisters, Realistic Genders, and Better Smithing.

Simple mod and works in 2025 June. I do have the support mod from Nexus though. This is such a simple mod that it's disappointing it has to be added because TaleWorlds has left it out in the base game.

@Romeo Charles No, the message appears in the mod list. Before the game is starting. It contains 7 mods (Native, Sandbox Core, Sandbox, StoryMode, Custom Battle, Rename Companions and Birth and Death Option). All of the mods have a little box for activating them. They can all be checked except for Rename Companions. The Rename Companions mod has a red exclamation mark containing the below mentioned problem.

@dewinter2001 is that a message you get before booting the game? May be wrong but it sounds like you didn't fully boot up the game and stopped in the launcher. My game always throws up an 'incompatible' warning but it doesn't effect whether or not the game will boot up or not. I play with little to no crashes with around 20+ mods

I'm pretty sure you can rename your main without this. In vanilla version, click the quill icon next to you name in the clan/members tab. If I recall correctly.

This is amazingly done. I can change my sons and daughters names and all.
Could you please try and make one for changing the names of settlements and towns? There's one on Nexus but I can't download anything from there without the game crashing at first run.

Such a stupidly simple thing that should've came day one dude. taleworlds is so disappointing. thankfully they added modding support for the workshop too so now their cobbled together game can be saved even harder by the community.
