I’ll try to remain as vanilla as possible in CS2, when recreating this map. :)

And it's great that you'll do more maps about the tohoku region! I'm looking forward to seeing them.
To be fair, I was mainly looking at youtube vids about aoba castle due to my interest in japanese history and interest in the tohoku region, so I really didn't look at Sendai as a flat plain and just thought about how cool it would be to build aoba castle in cities skylines.
@iRacLord, I won't stop doing maps, but I am awaiting Cities 2 at this point. It's a lot of work after all. But I will definitely do most of the Tohoku coast, though I am not sure I'll go to Sendai, since it's mostly a flat plain. I'll see when I get there, but my plan is at least from Matsushima to Hachinohe.
On another note - Are there any tree and visual mods you'd recommend that would fit into the Tohoku region?
Should that be the case, expect a Network Extensions 2 solution this weekend.
Have fun with your new city!
@RonMexico, yes, unfortunately I didn't search for how fishing worked in C:S before hand, and once your topography is done, you can't really change that. Stuff that I learned for next time.
