This mod is super cool, but man queen vanessa's level just isnt very fun. I don't wanna rag it too hard since its unfinished but her ai is way too inconsistent to make leading her into these lights thrilling or exciting, or even all that scary. Unfortunately I don't have the patience to finish this stage and see what the rest of the mod has to offer, but it was fun while it lasted

As much as I wished I liked this mod, I just... don't.
The idea was great, but I just got tired by the Queen Vanessa act.

It also softlocked on that act - not letting me upstairs after getting the key, or into any room but the bedroom (which Queen Vanessa never left) and bathroom.

it seems to have fixed itself after verifying game files

beat the chapter on one save and after beating the first act on another the 2nd act wouldn't unlock. after checking the first save i realized all acts past 1 were no longer unlocked. i also no longer had anything from the store in the hourglass hub. tried resetting progress in the store and the issue was not resolved. tried unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the mod and that didn't work either.

Optimization sucks tbh. My pc can run other games that need even more powerful pc to play than A Hat In Time. Whenever i play this chapter. Almost on every act the game lags horribly. Please, fix this issue. Anither issue is, when you burn all apintings the game doesnt let interact with the fireplace. There is an intercat prompt, but it doesnt seem to do anything. I can interact with anything but this. Please, fix those issues

In the Vanessa's manor the door into the second floor won't budge, even when I go up to them with the key, I don't know if this is a skill issue on my part or a bug.

If you mean the 6 pon chapter, it only appears before unlocking the free roam, and only when loading from Spaceship X's hourglasses room.

Having beaten that I can see why it was dropped from the final game. That's quite an unexpected difficulty spike.

Also, what's the 6-pon chapter that I can't open despite having over 12,000 pons?

Seems I was just missing a simple pattern. Still, I quite possibly got her stuck in the room with two 5 second switches at one point, so that might be worth looking into.

Okay, I don't know how I made it to Stage 2, but I did it somehow.

Worse, she seems to actually be getting stuck on the third floor, meaning further progress through the mod is physically impossible, even using other cheats. I must be doing something wrong, but I have a gut feeling this is a bug. I can't lure her out of the room at all, I only end up getting caught. It's physically impossible to progress further. I dare anyone to prove me wrong.

The problem with Vanessa is that
1. she instantly spots you as soon as you get the second key
2. the only way to escape is to enter the toy room
3. The south door in the toy room stops working after a certain event, which is definitely a bug
4. Vanessa never leaves the west side of the bedroom once she's back in after getting the key
5. therefore, if you go into the toy room after getting the key, you're softlocked unless you have the Telepack badge
6. so, unless I'm missing something, the Telepack from Hat Kid Goes to Jail for Laundry Burger is required to progress

It was a bit overkill but I infinitely prefer it over the pushover that is basegame Vanessa.

well, it doesn't work lol, I've tried it 3 times, and each time when you put the last painting in the fire, it just disappears and nothing happens? there's a react prompt on the campfire but it doesn't do anything, so you're essentially softlocked and can't progress. maybe test it on the actual game?
