Just did my first Kobold Invasion (tModLoader 1.4.4), and it was awesome... but none of the names were changed. In fact, there don't appear to be any text changes - just the textures. I'm using Starlight River, if that makes a difference (and it might - that's a huge mod...)

I'm having the issue that's been mentioned, but on the main branch (1.4.3.6) of tmodloader. Bound sprite, map icon, and icon next to the Reforge button get retextured, but nothing else (including the actual main sprites) are changed now. It's weird

For some unknown reason, my goblin tinkerer is still a goblin. I currently use the 1.4.4 patched version with the most recent tmodloader (v2022.9.47.30), and everything else works. The bound goblin is even a bound kobold, but he immediately turns into a goblin when unbound.

Spoilers obliviously if care about that. The link goes to a pack that makes the Shimmered forms the default forms.

A big problem is that when you Shimmer the Mechanic she turns into a Goblin, so that will have to be changed in the pack.

should've realized that since it's in a different folder, shimmer NPCs won't get overridden by the default. I don't exactly have the artistic ability to make my own, nor would I want to use anything "unofficial" and not made by Cathode, so I don't think I'll personally add shimmer NPCs
I mean hey, you could say that the shimmer turns your kobold into a goblin. that'd be a fun rationale.

okay, cool. updated all the sprites to the 1.4.4 versions now. emotes work, all paintings work, nothing seems out-of-the-ordinary (so long as I have it at the top as to override any other conflicts, of course). everything should be good now
