It did the versioning error since I did the patch on a different pc ugh. She's not desyncing its just steam has the same version listed for the last two updates it didn't auto update her version so you can play online with two different fumo cirnos

I think the recent patch made her desync matches online now. I was trying to play her in brackets and friendlies, but she desyncs the match after using a couple moves.

Thank you for the changes, and understandable. The new P drops on death are funny, good change. Dunno how I missed the fact uspecial has hits.

New patch with a new feature Lunatic mode activated by self destructing while in the down+taunt move. In lunatic mode you die if you get hit at all.

I didn't want to give buffs to her special moves at the moment since I like how they play right now. Down special is actually absurdly strong if you can hit it but its not supposed to be a viable move at all its a direct port of the melee kirby version which is one of the worst moves in platfighters. Uspecial does have hitboxes and is pretty good offensively as is, her recovery isn't actually that bad in my opinion but it takes being a bit creative to get the 1f landing lag angles on uspecial.

I'm really hesitant to buff anything further since I think she's getting too strong for what I wanted to make. I've got probably a few thousand hours on melee pichu and I wanted to make a character that felt similar, right now she feels a lot better than that character so I'm hesitant to give anything else.

Things I like from the new update:

The new colors are all super cute, rocking that abyss alt.

Her kill power is really good, and makes her fun to play even if she has a difficult time actually landing those kills.

Forward Special could do with a clearer indicator for how charged it is. Could also do with super armor at full charge, to give it that warlock punch treatment, or a faster charge speed - the current charge speed with no super armor doesnt work very well with how fast paced rivals is even at a casual level.

Forward Air doing only 1% per hit with nothing else going on is abysmal even by bad move standards. Move needs something, probably range since it's otherwise competing with nair.

Taunt's hitbox is not only far too tiny, it doesn't even come out sometimes. https://i.imgur.com/bTAmKpj.png like, this should hit. I'm standing point blank in *regigigas of all people*. https://i.imgur.com/fetbQ3p.png and sometimes your hurtboxes can be completely overlapping and it still will not hit. I love taunt. I love going for the funky. please let me go for the funky.

She's in a somewhat better space now in terms of actually being playable now. She does still feel really weak, so that's still accomplished.

Things I think could still do with some improvement, with a aim of making moves usable, not good or amazing (with the disclaimer im not a great player):

Up Special needs a bit more range and speed, or a htibox, or no pratfall, or something. Fumo Cirno can't really recover at all right now, since rivals doesn't have ledge grabbing like smash does.

Down Special could do with extra speed, more base knockback + higher damage, and a larger hitbox (maybe a shockwave hitbox?). In turn, I think it could also do with a longer recovery, to fulfil its role as the death or glory little brother move. Right now it's just too slow to hit anyone with a pulse.

FUMO

I put out a patch that fixed things like missing death sound but it also has a lot of animation adjustments and new taunt and stuff. Character was meant to be kinda weak but not as unplayably weak as she felt so I buffed her a pretty decent amount. Hopefully didn't go too far.
