I have an idea, are you able to send me the mod list? It is likely we have the same mod, which is causing the issue.

ok this has to be a custom alien enemy this is awesome imagine seeing this imposing creature turn up using psionic abilities and being an alien that isnt afraid of firing a plasma weapon

Try unsub and resub to see if it fixes the issue.

I tested Grunt. Color conflict. Commander is all black. Whole body. Thanks for the advice.

My guess is there is a mod conflict that the new head is discolored, as mine is half brown like this:

It is not a big deal because you can use Psionic commander helmet as the upper face prop with Grunt's head as helmet:
