The only thing I have question towards:

Why lol. Everything else makes sense one way or another, but not spear buff.

your mod have bug at the stealth kill when i turned it off i can perform stealth kill but when5 its on its not possible

Thank you, literally lost my longest save because I tried using a gun, and I'd fire round after round at like.. 5 foot distance, and it would do almost zero damage. Meanwhile the axe I'd been carrying around could easily solo hordes. The dev's definetly just wanted to counteract the sterotype of guns being a godsent in zombie apocalypses with no further thought as to how that would impact gameplay, immersion, or gamefeel.

yes I change your config already but i got problem with MSR 700 range messed up, u need to look for it, i fixed it by my self, i dont know if other player know how to do it tho

Yes, in real life a large steel crowbar can weight as much as sledgehammers, up to 8kg.

You are loading another mod that also changes the muzzle flash.

Unfortunately no. Multihit seems to be hardcoded into the shove.
But I usually play this mod with random zombies, which the multishove makes things more balanced.

This mod sucks, good for beginner player but on high level aim the accuracy like shit, usually i can one tap most zombie with m9 also the critical hit much less now .dont use this for the melee unless u want to use more short knife. because the setting the multi hit setting will be fucking off and u cant change it back. this really piss me off

Is there a way to disable multi-hit on shove? I like the idea of having multi hit off on everything by default but only certain weapons having access to it, but when I play with this mod it also makes my shove multi hit which is OP.

I love this mod, and ive been using it for a year now. but recently a bunch of errors have popped up for an unbeknownst reason. i dont play in debug mode so i have no clue what they are but whenever i check mod list it shows red and a big [ERROR] blablablah. idk if anyone is well versed in Lua spaghetti but i think somebody aught to investigate this.

I actually found out that the reason why the fire rates for these weapons are so slow is It seems the way these weapons are coded must be borrowed from pistols.

Since they aren't considered a SMG like the MP5, their fire rate is set to how pistols work instead, like the Glock 17.

Is it possible for you to change that or will that be up to the Firearms B41 creator?

Otherwise, at least it's negated depending on your Aiming skill. It seems to increase all fire rates the higher it is.

@Mark IV Is it possible for you to make the MAC10 and Uzi Carbine in Firearms B41 have proper full auto? All other auto related weapons work perfectly but those 2.

For the melee changes, does it make combat way easier? Even with multi hit off it seems like a major increase in damage. I like the sound of the blunt weapon changes but not sure about the rest

Yes, the thing with the rifles has now been fixed. Tried to use it as a way to make shoots pierce through zombies, but it didn't work.

I have also seen people complain about rifles doing buckshot damage, I don't know if that has been fixed already since I haven't tested it. Don't get me wrong, your mod concept is great but in it's current state it is broken and unusable. I guess I will keep trying to find working mods that improve gunplay. I hope you get this fixed someday because that'd be great and I would definitely use your mod.

Removing it just sounds better and easier. It's not good game design to have something purposely made shitty that requires an upgrade to be good. If the shotgun is good without a choke modification, then it doesn't needs it.

I guess this could be fixed, or at least have the chokes removed from the game. It sucks to find a shotgun at the beginning of a game and not being able to use it because it has a choke and you don't have a screwdriver yet to be able to uninstall it. Also, for me having different choke options and being able to change the shotgun spread is quite nice, and I really don't like the idea of making such items useless. I think you should rethink this and perhaps upgrade your mod to work with chokes.

The improved accuracy might make the chokes not work. But I guess its just not relevant anyway, since the shotguns are already more accurate and have more range than vanilla shotguns even with chokes.

I think so. I haven't checked that mod, but I imagine it does the same thing (speeding up the gun attack animations).

@crutchmaster guess this and Boots Expanded already counts as it, as it balances the gameplay into something I feel more comfortable to play with.

Coding for this game is absolute hell so I could never implement Brutal Doom-like gore in this game. (Also there are no weapons or conditions in this game that would allow that kind of dismemberment and gibbing) but I do plan to make a mod that adds gory zombies (missing/chewed limbs, hanging guts, etc.) but I gotta update my Doom stuff first.

And now that I found the Brutal Handwork mod that allows you to dual wield weapons, and it becomes viable to use a knife as secondary and stab enemies when they get too close to use the machete or axe, there is zero chance I'm restoring the old knife range.

@allethargic Maybe messing with the range of the knives fucks up with the jawstabing thing. But honestly I think it's just a gimmicky, and I would rather be able to actually use the knives in close quarters than having a gimmicky execution that only works when you are alone with one zombie and don't really need it.

Also, if you feel like the melees are buffed too much, go to 0001VanillaMeleeWeaponsTweaks. Mark left the original min/max damage values of the weapons as comments as a guideline if you want to revert them

Anyone wanna fix the bullets going buckshot on the rifles, you can go to 0002.VanillaFirearmsWeaponsTweaks and change the maxhitcount on the offending items. Instead, as an alternative, you can add this TweakItem("Base.AssaultRifle2","PiercingBullets","TRUE") so that the M14, for example, can pierce up to 2 enemies if you line your shots correctly

Some people already said this, but the mod breaks the choke tube - full upgrade for the shotguns. It increases the damage as it should, but the guns become unusable. They shoot but can't hit anything, only downed zombies.
