Lots of modders try too hard with the things they do, putting in too much detail and ulitmately losing vision, making a map that works more like a showpiece than something fun and engaging to fight on.
Sorry to hear you lost it, take care!
Good microterrain in the more open areas.
Love the map, I hope you do choose to start doing this again.
- Still maintain the Ravenfield vibes and design ( not to complex, not to realism)
- Map no to messy
- Looking forward for other map creations of your work
This map is amazing. I am myself a fan of more realistic/ARMA-like gameplay and terrains and this map is all about it. Yes, I have seen your comment that you are an ARMA map maker and it really shows. I absolutely love a lot of small variations in height throughout the map, combinations of fields and hills, the fact that you are not getting mowed down as a rifleman straight away because of the terrain. I also like how the map allows you to choose between quick but risky movement through roads or slow but safe movement with fields.
what a great map for a first mod!
