After some testing, i found that it's not 100%but 3 out of 5 it crashes. And some of my mods are not save compatible. so i could not do saving before moving on the marker. Love your mod, great work! sadly i have to let it go, because the crashes:d2tidehunter:

@okgo, Is it 100% the case ? If yes, there is probably a conflict with another mod.

A potential workaround would be to load a save made before moving on the marker, then moving on it. The enemy army is randomized each time you move on the marker meaning if it's a specific unit that triggers your crash for some reason, you have a chance to trigger a battle without this unit.

Hello, first off amazing mod one of my favorites to play with thank you. However my current campaign I am playing IEE and all the markers spawned in. The problem is when I move an army over one and choose to fight the army no battle occurs and the marker goes away. I continued my campaign like nothing happened but I just reloaded the save several turns after I attempted to fight for one of the chaos treasures and the markers re appeared. They did the same thing when I moved an army over it. Popped up the dilemma then when I select fight the army no battle ensued and the marker went away. Not sure whats going on any help would be great thanks!

@Honry Jail, There are no specific locations set for The Old World. That being said, the mod will still work and spawn treasure markers in the world. However, some of them may spawn in unreachable areas (like inside mountains). I will make the mod fully compatible with The Old World when its layout will be considered "final".

I updated the mod to add a new marker (with new possible spawn locations) and a new item for players using the Immortal Empires Expanded mod. Nothing changes at all for the normal Immortal Empires campaign.

@Solaire, Isn't the checkbox "Enable all saves" not working in multiplayer ? It's supposed to make it possible to load red saves.

That's an impossibility. There are few mods that let you disable them mid-campaign and let you continue the campaign. This isn't one of those mods. No matter how far back I go, every save is in the red because it is dependent on this mod.

Considering all the dumb things that CA patches break. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case but I didn't want to be rude and assume it was your mod alone causing problems but I do remember vividly that it works in single player with IEE. Needless to say with MCT in need of an update itself because it keeps aborting connections and trying to find mods that work with it until it's fixed. It was a bit soul crushing to compromise harshly, get a decent campaign going for 30 turns with my friend before hard crashes and we can't go beyond it. I don't expect it but I hope an update can save our campaign but like I said. No pressure. Just informing you.

@Solaire, Thanks for letting me know. Not sure if it could be related to IEE, maybe one of the recent patches broke the multiplayer aspect of the Chaos Treasures mod somehow. :yawp:

And we just spent 31 turns ending them as Belakor and Changeling to test this theory. This mod does cause crashes.

It maybe just because its IEE but upon turn 30, when the treasures show up. The game crashes for me or my friend in multiplayer. It works fine in singleplayer regarding IEE.

@Ritualblaze, I didn't try an Immortal Empires Expanded campaign yet so I can't confirm if it works. That being said I don't think the IEE mod changed the vanilla world in a way that could break the Chaos Treasures mod.

However, there are no chaos treasures in the new zones like Ind or Khuresh yet. When I have time, I will have to add new markers in those areas with probably an 8th item to get.

@Ralkorin, What storm of magic mechanic ? This mod doesn't add or change any existing mechanic anyway, it only spawns markers with battles on the map and give items if you beat them...

looks like its a problem with single player as well. The marks were being removed from the map properly until i got to the last one. When I fought the last battle the mark remained and all the other marks reappeared and remain after the battle.

@Cheesers, Sorry about that, it was actually a bug of the multiplayer update, I just fixed it. Each marker should now properly disappear whenever you get their item. The next time you restart the game and get the mod update, the marker you were farming shouldn't be there anymore.
