the 3d shells were part of the firing animation, causing them to disappear if you shot again, as well as flying in the exact same path every time. i'd say that the particle shells are an upgrade to that

fun fact: before the last stand update the ejected shells used to be 3D models. The TLS team had the best idea to downgrade them, and now they're just pngs.

The default shells also glow in the dark, the creator just made them HD

this mod is great man good job the vanilla particles are definitely lacking in quality and this mod fixes that and imo you should make one for particle_l4d2shells.vtf but that's up to you though. anything to fix that damn unfinished desert eagle bullet being all grey and trash looking lol. But yeah great job bro
