Some sandbox options have changed, for those who have set up the old version, perhaps you should recheck your sandbox options.

UPDATE:

Adds description to sandbox options.

Adds more sandbox options.

Adds a description on the sledgehammer items, everything is summarized in this description.

Added a "say" on the character's head when starting the action destroy with the sledgehammer, this will tell you the level of solidity of the object, and if it will be more or less difficult for you.

In the sandbox options, you can modify each sandbox options independently, several difficulty levels are accessible, the difficult level is slightly more difficult than the old version, otherwise, you can make this mod as you want.

Hi! the code is simple however, if you are isAdmin() or if not isAdmin(), then it must come from something else... as if you were permanently considered as admin, I would do a test to see, I set myself admin , test, then set player, and test again, if it works internally it should work everywhere

Hey, nice mod! I'm using it on my community server. Just one thing that I discovered...
I noticed that you wrote: "Admin mode retains the original sledgehammer usage." I've been testing it with a non-admin account, but it seems like I'm considered an admin because the account was initially set as an admin. Even after using the /setaccesslevel command to demote from admin to player, I still can't play with this mod as a normal player.

@AuD i intentionally disable 'allowdestructionbysledgehammer' to prevent the tool's exploits. If i enable it, will it overwritten by addRulesSledgeHammer (your mod)?

i only use the addRulesSledgeHammer one

@BroDimm you need to activate the destroye action in sandbox options, otherwise this work like vanilla, right click on object to destroye

The English translation is hard to understand, and the formatting style does not match the game.

I suggest using these:

IGUI_sledgeBroken = "My Sledgehammer is broken.",
IGUI_notStrongForThat = "I'm not strong enough to use a Sledgehammer. (level ",

IGUI_noSledge = "I don't have a Sledgehammer.",

Small rquest:
Can objects destroyed with the Sledgehammer leave behind some of the junk materials they drop when dismantling them?
Not the good stuff like Wooden Planks or Metal Sheets, but something?
I would appreciate to have that functionality.

The current settings are functioning properly on the multiplayer server, including the speed penalty for canceling safe houses, which adds more diversity to our gameplay.

Now, if lessPenaltyInYourSafeHouse = true, you will have to real bonus in your safehouse, it's normal for the gameplay ^^, is not only in your safehouse (inside),this is valid around your safehouse, everything is configurable, even the prohibition to use the sledgehammer in the opponent's safehouse ....

OH! Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and for the very useful sandbox settings.

My friends and I are able to use them properly on the dedicated server, the only downside is that the speed of using the sledgehammer to dismantle items is still too slow.

I hope there is an option to remove the speed penalty because the speed of dismantling is quite important for construction enthusiasts.

UPDATE :

- I added a lot of sandbox options (all explanations in the description of this mod)

- globally, you will be able to edit the options in order to facilitate or not the use of the mass

- admins now have full rights without having to use the cheat menu

- if you intentionally cut the "destroy" action, you will no longer suffer the penalties.

- globalement, vous pourrez éditer les options afin de faciliter ou non l'utilisation de la masse

- les admins ont maintenant tous les droits sans avoir à utiliser le menu de triche

- si vous coupez intentionnellement l'action "détruire", vous ne subirez plus les malus.

This mod is really great and solves many inconveniences in the game. It is worthy of praise!
I really like how it balances the rules for using a sledgehammer, but is it possible to add an option to adjust the destruction speed of the sledgehammer?
Because sometimes when we are building houses, we need to frequently use the sledgehammer to correct misplaced objects, and the destruction speed affects the difficulty of doing so.

and actually I review all my mods once I learn, at the moment, the one that takes my time is avatar offline.

I would eventually review this sledgehammer mod, with Sandbox options etc...

Hi Aud, I follow your evolution as a programmer, even though I'm not one, you started making simple mods and made very nice thing later, you kept improving them, surprising even experienced modders with your ideas.
I quote you as an example for everyone looking to start in this modding scenario, start simple, learn and then make something great.
Don't let comments like the one below affect you. If you don't like the mod, just don't use it.
I can see how your mods are made for your community/server, with their tastes and ideas, some mods are not made for all players, you should make that more clear. (as some people do not like read the description)

Why theres no damage acummulation? i mean if this tries to be a "real use" simulator, once i try to beat one door dow and fail, next time should be easier because, i already hit the door before

Penalty balancing.
The loss of happiness has been removed.
replaced by stress.
If you succeed in your action, you lose boredom instead of adding it.
now you can practice destroy action with strength level 5.
The mass is damaged a little less quickly.

Could you consider about fatigue penalty of sledge hammers rules ? I understand every penalties sledge bring to me but the fatigues are too much.. in the game, fatigue decreases melee dmg very sharply and needs to get some sleep as time goes on
Of course its tiring when Im using some big things like sledge hammer but we are just in the game !!
and the fatigue system in this game bring too much penalty

- added mag metal working vol4 for craft the sledgeHammer (keep)
- added possible random fails related to skills and bonus gived (bonus is calculate related to skills/targetedObject/random )

Maybe I will add to the recipe somes items, or add variations, all depends on the rarity of the added elements, but i want a good balance for survival based.

hi the recipe and usage/breakage is a nice idea and balanced i think.
