Just in case anyone else was experiencing the same issue - using the "Warhammer 1 Texture Update Project" mod seems to fix the blacked out armor textures on all the models with no obvious mod conflicts

There's a bug in melee_weapons_tables for the Heavy_spear unit, it reads "halbred" where it should be "halberd" in the audio key.
@Mana, it seems no update is needed.

Check "Imperial Armoury" on the workshop, its very popular with almost 5k subs and all other big mods like Grand Order of the Reiksguard or Guns of the Empire have submods for it :)

Hey, love the mod, those units really fill the gaps in the melee line of the Empire, would be possible to create a submod for the Imperial Armoury unit upgrade mod of this?
