For some reason the whips float
just a bit away from the hand

(as of v4.1) Whip sprite seems to be misaligned -- looks like it's floating in front of the character now.

I kinda prefer the stiffer default sprites for a few weapons (e.g. dagger -- this modded one seems...too floppy? lol). The (intended) modded whip sprite also seems harder to differentiate from cat, compared to the default whip sprite.

Most of the others look good, overall very nice work! :)

Dropping by to say that I use this pack all the time to the point that sometimes I forget they aren't official. They look so good!

hey! you can change the crypt arena sprites now, if you go to your local resource pack and press tab then you can add files you want to change :redbat:

@Ali Resource packs don't disable achievements! You can play this without worry. ^^

@Star-X Ah, I figured that might've been the reason even though it still worked for me when I turned off the DLC. I've added it as a requirement to the mod now.

Just an FYI for anyone interested in this without the new DLC: it only works if you own Synchrony. Otherwise it does nothing.

No problem, as you say they do look great as is, its a tiny nitpick and I cant imagine playing without this mod as it breathes so much life into the weapons!

Outstanding sprite work, feels a lot more fitting than what we currently got in the vanilla version. Thanks a lot for improving the dynamic character content!

Wow, this looks awesome! There was always something off about those animations... I really love what you did with bendy weapons like the whip, it was uncomfortably stiff and looked like a shepard's cane lol. Also the particles on the mystery weapon are dope! You clearly put a lot of time and effort into this :necroheart:

@Jin I'm so sorry! I was trying to click away something on Steam and accidentally deleted your comment. Can't make any promises on changing the dagger much though, since I like it the way it is right now and would like to prioritize other weapons that need more tweaking instead.

It could be any number of reasons. What DLC do you have? Are any other mods/resource packs on? Have you restarted the game and tried again? Verified the game's files? Sadly I can't help you without more info!

Yeah, I went that route and created a mod myself, hiding most of the items that I deem to create too much visual clutter. Thanks for the info.

Thank you! Sadly no official way to only show weapons, but if you're willing to do a bit of menial work you could copy an empty image and name it after what you want to be invisible. I made a pastebin with the rest of the item names: https://pastebin.com/6nfiqKDt (names should be self-explanatory). Put that it the DynChar folder along with the other images and it should work!

Very nice work! This is sort of a request but do you know if its possible to only show weapons? I don't particularly like the floating items around the player nor the bulky ones like the blast helmet.

Amazing mod! Quickly became a must-have for me. I love all the extra movement you've added to weapon sprites. Cutlass looks a bit "jiggly", though. Other than that it's great. No more fork tridents!
