I would flip-flop that, given that, IIRC, Frigates use Missiles/Torpedoes, and Scouts are the ones that use Missiles.

adding this note forgot about the protoss ship called the scout you could have the scout model be the corvette and the frigate model be the phoenix for the protoss the corsair for the Narazim the mirage for the Purifiers and reuse the Phoenix with the red color for Taldarim again just wanted to help with the accuracy and if updated with the fixed models then would love to use it

i have a problem with this mod the: protoss is fine except for the void ray which should be the arbitor model: the narazim frigate model should be the cosair and they have other models to use like their own colony ship design that is different from the regular protoss transport and for some reason the narazim juggernaut is the purifier one. the purifiers have other models and dont use void rays. finally the design for the tal'darim ships are fine and i think its cool that they reused the spear of adun with a different color sceme but the only ship that a dont like is the void ray it should look different. sorry for the rant but when i picked this mod i thought it would be complete or have all the ships but got disapointed again i think the mod is cool and with some tweaking to the ship designs for the different factions it would be great

Battle Cruiser have the fungoid ship template (On the section) weapon placement is also centered to one place, the same happened with the Dreadnought.

Hey there,

Thanks so much for this great mod.
Just noticed that all the mining & research stations look bugged. I'd like to post a picture here but I can't.. it looks like the Avian shiptype stations but with a little tiny model of the actual protoss station that it's supposed to be in the middle of the Avian station.

I tried all(protoss,nerazim,taldarim,purifier) and they all have the same bug, and just for good measure I tried some of the vanilla shiptypes and they worked fine.

Could you please check to see if this a problem with this mod and if so apply a fix for it?

@Fangtom Did some research and its a turret/weapon issue that corresponds with NC2. I am investigating but it will tkae some time. Thanks for letting me know which ships and weapons are problems. Will get on it!

I should specify the problem. Some ships like Tal'darim strike cruisers seem to fire weapons perfectly fine. For some ships like a battleships with 3 particle lances and plasma cannons, all the particle lances fire from the star while only SOME of the plasma cannons fire from the star. This suggests that some of the ship turrets are broken, which is what caused the fire from the star glitch in the original protoss ship mod.

Would be nice if the Nerazim would get the Protoss shipset with all ships in dark silver and green light…. At the moment the Nerazim are a bit too colourful… ;)

NSC2 season 7 patch? New features I should know of? So far its compatible... I can have a look at the Terran and Zerg stuff. Consider it a project :) Keep my on the list, and it should be unveiled soon :)

Thank you for making an updated version of Protoss ships, they look great!!! Any chance of a "NSC2 season 7" patch in the works? Also any aspirations to update the Terran and Zerg ships the original author made as well?

@Alzara try disabling the auto-generate designs then using the auto-complete to populate the components and etc. You can then swap things around. Some deeper investigation is needed, but it proves a decent workaround for now.

All the icons that describe components. Try and design a ship, you'll see. It also breaks where they appear in technology selection.

@Everyone I added some Juggernauts. The Spear of Adun and the Spear of Amon.
Solved a few other bugs as well, including the flags. More work needed, but so far so good. Enjoy!

Thanks for renewing this awesome mod. Just had two suggestions / requests:
1) I get the bug where laser weapons fire from the star of the system and not from the ships themselves. I tested with another shipset and didn't get that bug so my assumption is that it's this mod that has this issue. Would you be able to look into this?
2) Secondly, for the "Protoss Ship Set - Spear of Adun & Spear of amon(Juggernuat) ADD" mod, I can use it alongside yours to get the spear of adun, but would it be possible to just add the spear of adun as the titan to your mod? i.e I am looking to keep everything about your mod the same but simply add the spear of adun. when I use the other mod, the ship sizes are so much reduced and really ruins the aesthetics(e.g. carriers are smaller than another empire's cruiser).

I would very much appreciate your kind consideration into these 2 points.

I have used Protoss Khalai/Nerazim/Tal'darim/Purifier Portrait Set by force728, these mod adds some unique traits, origins, flags, buildings, components and so on for each faction. But sometimes, they can puzzle me with some bugs. Does your mod just include portraits, shipsets and flags? If so, I'll glad to use this mod. I also use Ccoma01's shipset mod, is your mod compatible to it? Or I should choose one of them? At last, thanks for your work!

@Darkmourne I kinda did some testing on my save and results were just confusing. I was using Taldarim ships and they 100% percent of the time were shooting lasers from the star. But after some years other empires started shooting lasers too. They had vanilla ships like humanoid or aquatic. I have no clue what exactly can cause vanilla ships to do that so i guess problem is not with your mod

@FFomAA I have seen this issue as well. Mind giving me insight which race/ship might be causing this?
There is allot to comb through code wise and any further context is appreciated. Regardless I have begun investigating but I have no timeline on the resolution.

Hello, i have the problem of lasers shooting out of the sun instead of ships. Had the same stuff with the original mod and i'm not sure if thats the problem with the mod or my stellaris playset somehow. Can you look into it?

Short answer is yes. I have been playing the NSC2 Season 6 mod and it works well so far. Been playing the NSC2 mod only for a week and feeling ashamed I didn't try it ages ago!
