For me the mod works if i simply copy the authority and councilor files from the base game to the mod folder.
But im not sure if im using the same mod version.

I'll grab Paragons and Astral Planes but I'm a great many patches behind so an update might be a while

Word of caution, I've had reports of some severe crash bugs recently which doesn't really surprise me because my mods are severely out of date, so I'd disable them for now

While the civics themselves seem to be working as intended, this mod needs an update. The civics do not have an associated councilor position. This was the major change of patch 3.8 and the Galactic Paragons expansion.

Sorry about the lack of updates! Had some PC issues and so by the time I got back to Stellaris half the progress I'd made was already outdated by the new patch. I've got a couple of days off next week so I'll try and get back into the swing of things

The 3.3 Version works just fine but this one for some reason dosen't and by that i mean the civics just don't appear

I mean that's great and all, but "effect force_add_civic" exists if you really need to change it midgame

Jdalt40: Yeah, there's some disagreement in regards to player preference and I totally understand why some people would prefer them to be restricted to game start, but players are currently allowed the option of changing to them midgame for RP reasons (or even "screw this, I'm going to start cheating" reasons)

The AI can't do that, of course! No risk of your neighbour suddenly engaging Galactic Annihilators without your say-so

Hey Edcrab, I see one civic is unable to be removed from game start, but what about the others? With the others you can add/remove the civic midgame which I find a liiil questionable

@DangerousRhymes - It works for me, I have it almost at the end of the loadorder and i'm using quite a lot of other civic and civic-related mods with it. They're pretty easy to recognize in the civic list since they have the golden icons

None of these are showing up in my species creator. it's almost the last mod in my list. is there a specific place in the load order it should be?

Only if you make them use them. Randomly spawned AIs can't pick them and AIs can't change to OP Civics in-game when reforming government, but if you make a custom empire, give it one of the civics, and force it to spawn you can tailor an OP opponent to your liking!
