Man, reading a few of the steam comments reminds me why I stick to discord and never read anything on steam. So much hostility.
If the devs specifically request that their mod be removed from the workshop, then I believe it should probably be removed. However, if they wish it removed, it would be prudent to reupload it themselves.
This matter, however, is far removed from my business...and has nothing to do with me. My above words are all that I will input on the subject.
Also, the description was changed compared to earlier. If you don't know the whole thing, at least please avoid to comment...
What sort of idiot thinks this is "stealing" so much as a reupload of a previous work that wasn't uploaded by the original team for another platform. You think a mod that was only available on nexusmods / moddb / github and so on but wasn't on steam workshop counts as being stolen when the OP didn't claim it was theirs?
You, the modders, are lucky that the developers, and publishers and/or the copyright owners even allow you to use their code, their work, and their IP. In fact, I dont think I see anywhere where the original remake team credited or thanked the real devs, the publisher, Lucsfilm, Disney, or George Lucas himself for their work and allowing for use of the IP and code.
" I will happily remove this upload if an official legacy 3.5 is added to the workshop..." is this a threat?
"Upload it yourselves then."
