in more than a thousand hours gametime it does not crash for me, so it is likely an incompatibility with another mod

The Gears tactics crashes the game on the start due to some incompatibilities.

@Stukov It has me mystified. If other mods needed to support this one made a change, that is another possible source of the issue. I am not a programmer so I do not have the skills to track it down completely. I do have a computer with Linux with Steam that I can use to further investigate. This computer has Windows 10.

@Stukov I seem to have run into a problem loading this class. Before starting this campaign I checked the game files using Steam and cleared out the config folder. I also checked my system files using sfc. I loaded a setup that had several classes but not this one and it loaded quite quickly. When I added this class the game would not load. I created a setup with only this mod and the required dependencies which even after ten minutes still did not load. I use the Alternative Mod Launcher.

@Stukov By "count as level 4 officers" does that mean that they can fill in officer slots for covert actions that require officers such as stronghold missions?

It's strange the campaigns running as normal no crashes or anything so it seems all is good. No problem

i did update it, but that should not have an impact on "missing mod"

I have no clue why xcom is saying i'm missing this mod in my files. I've redownloaded and verified integrity and it appears in AML launcher but when i go in game the game claims its missing. Did something change recently with this mod?
