Hey pretty sure this mod worked for the most part but it didn't include newer units, post 3.4.5, so i updated it. Do i have you permission to upload the update and credit you? If not i get it, just figured i would ask. Thanks for making this in the first place, have had a lot of legendary games with this in the modlist, have a good day

I made a mod for myself, in which I only changed the BASE_DAMAGE_MIN to 0.2. Which works for all armies and is the much simpler solution, because it works with any kind of army mod aswell. You might want to change that.

unfortunately the Stellaris team has stated that they will likely not overhaul ground combat. I think It's mostly because the focus is on space combat, and people may find it too overwhelming to micromanage both aspects of combat. But apparently they have done some experiments with space battles, so whether that means an upcoming rework it or what hopefully something interesting happens with it lol

Seems we have the same concept about the ground battles in Stellaris, the mechanic is too poor to represent the true planetary invasion by the force of ships and giant armies XD

In my case I make another mod who add more units to the game, units related by ethics, traits, buildings, etc, and can combine with this mod in a unique mod: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2831814138

I hope devs in stellaris improve the ground combat someday with something more realisitc than "colour balls" fighting others in a abstract battle in a simple screen.

Hi, I made pretty much the same mod 5 months ago but went about it a different way. Instead of changing army health in the unit files which means if another mod like AlphaMod: Invasion! adds units then they are heavily under powered compared to the base units with x10 the health. You can instead change the global Narmy and NGameplay meaning it's alot more compatible with other mods.
