i updated with a change that should stop the player from emitting footstep sounds once they die, let me know if it messes anything up (like not hearing other players footsteps when you die, etc)

bro most of the EFT footstep sounds sound the exact same lol, that's what bothered me with the last one but i really liked the water footsteps sound

Like fumble footsteps for example, they dont require the server to have a server side addon but work great

I have yet to try it successfully in a server but what I meant before was like how other footstep mods dont require a server sided addon yet still work perfectly

Dsteps is fully clientside though? Is it not working for you when joining a server that has sv_allowcslua set to 1?

keep in mind you'll definitely have to normalize/amplify the sounds to make them loud enough

oh ok, is there a link to where I can find the source of these sounds so I can unpack it and try changing it so it works for me
