She's absolutely broken with 4 trinket mods by using her COM Trinket 10% extra turn, Ancestor lucky frog another 10% extra turn, Vermintide Grimoire 4% Extra turn with 13% extra damage and top of it all with Rotmind blade from hunters treasure mod, each attack basically gives her 3-4 extra turn with 100% crit honestly hilarious.

will you release a version with the runaway fire thingy or nah?

Great mod, love the neuron-activating art. On other notes here's an interesting and broken interaction I found:

When equipped with her COM trinket which grants ACC buff on top of 10% chance extra turn and use her Duckfoot gun that hits 3 targets, the game checks for 10% 3 times, which means there's 27.1% chance that at least 1 of those hits gives an extra turn (yes, she can gain MULTIPLE extra turns at once if you're lucky).

However, the code actually gives this effect a 15% chance to trigger, raising the chance of at least 1 extra turn to 38.6%. Effectively, many fights becomes the Privateer shooting about 3-5 times into the crowd killing absolutely everything on the first turn.

BUT WAIT, there's more! Pairing this trinket with the Ancestor's Lucky Frog trinket from Sunward Isle which gives another 10% for extra turn per hit, and this chance increases to almost 50%. As funny as this is, this makes the game very trivial.

She suffers the same bug as the Eldritch Heir, in that sometimes, the hero cannot learn the camping trick because the UI is stuck between another camping trick. In the case of the Privateer, it is between Encourage and the Oranges camping skill that overlap, which results in being unable to click the unlearned Oranges camping skill.

The fake killing you hear is the s0 summon mechanic it is a unfortunate side affect for the gold finding and how the bounties are spawned, this has been explained before. Eventually a solution will be found.

After playing with her for a while, here are my impressions:
The good: awesome pirate theme, fun bounty mechanic, the milkers.
The bad: the "fake" killing everytime she attacks an enemy, missing sounds on dodged attacks, the lack of an indicator on the fire attack.

It's a damn shame she feels incomplete and buggy. Breaks the experience. With some more love, she could be a favorite.

Her profession name is displayed incorrectly, showing a similar code (I don't understand), including exclusive items. How can I improve it?

Could you please change her size or make a companion mod that does so to make her shorter (i.e. as tall as literally all other characters in the game)?

Currently her sprite just looks unnecessarily upscaled compared to every other character.

@XIII @NoTalking this is due to how her sword summons gold; it is a.size 0 monster that spawns kills itself and drops gold. The consquence is you hear the Narrator comment on this and.the death sound. Such a issue can only be resolved in overhaul mods.

Her cutlass has a weird sound and triggers the "dying" sound for the enemy and the respective comment by the Narrator even if the enemy doesn't die. Is that a bug or is it just me?

No fire attacks patch? Why?

I hate to leave a negative review because there's a lot I like about this character stylistically but she ultimately ends up feeling very unsatisfying to use - she's clearly a mark-focused damage dealer but struggles to ever actually capitalise on applied marks. She has two mark-killers, one of which is an extremely inaccurate grapeshot-blast which requires an AoE mark (and still misses 75% of the time) and the other being a backline-killing ranged attack which ignores Prot on mark - the backline being the area where most enemies tend not to have Prot.
Meanwhile her two more 'gimmicky' options - Bounty and Flame damage - don't really fit her playstyle and also inconsistently fail to work. Sometimes the Flame DoT just won't apply, other times it will. I've sometimes applied it and it hasn't worked only for the enemy to suddenly take flame damage 3 turns later - what's a Mark-focused class doing with a DoT anyway?

It's an interesting class, visually I think the artist got 90% of the art style, including the proper proportions and line thickness. However, he/she dropped the ball when it came to "grit". She looks way too clean and bright. She needs more areas of shadow and a subtle texture/wash to match 100% of the vanilla art direction.

It would be lovely if this is ever addressed. Awesome work still.

Is this mod incompatible with anything?
I added her to my latest game and now whenever I try to load my savefile it crashes mid-load, and it's only this mod what creates this issue as far as I've been able to test.
Some help would be appreciated, seems like a really cool mod.

Her CoM trinket is so goddamn OP, an extra turn with 10% chance may not seem much but it really starts to get out of hand with the duckfoot skill when each hit can give you 3 turns in total. Also sort of disappointed there's no giant cannon skill like with s-purple's sketches. Other than that she's pretty alright if you're dire for some cash, you can take her with a hwm and anti for easy money grind and the big booba and pirate theme are enough to distract from the OPness

A fun fact for the character's bounty system, corpses DO count as kills so you can basically get up to 7 bounties per full fight if you get lucky (3-5 is more common though with crits and dots)

Okay, I was wrong. Only things that matter to getting bounties: The killing blow is direct, not Dot, not riposte. The character doing the kill has the icon over their heads.

The icon is then consumed and a bounty token drops. Privateer can place another mark to refresh the icons.
