I am going absolutely crazy, i tried to fix original drone on Alicorn 2- not worked. I now try to ad theese drone and it does not work. What am i doing wrong ? I saved item assembly, saved it as submarine. Reloaded Alicorn withoud drone, added links between drone and sub hatch, nothing... drone just dissapears or appears in un-operable state, somebody please explain to me how to do this.

uh, BTW i dont use the Nuke Drone anymore, i removed it, because i suspect it is exploding when an abyssal monster hits it....seems to have fixed the issue i had with it like ....as i removed it 3 months ago. No More spontaneous nuking of my own submarine when something rams it.

@RabidAvali (on Nov4th 2024) FakeFish ...made a change, partially my fault, that essentially makes the Drone Lights invisible... from Turret, because the Turret is invisible, i believe... i saw that with my own eyes.

i had issues with the light shining into my sub and i didnt know where it was coming from twice for 3 days, its annoying BUT they shouldnt have nerfed the lights, i asked them to reverse this, dont nerf the mod because us men are dumdums who forget to point the turret away from the ship, so the light doesn't shine in!!! so in essence, Fake Fish accidentally ruined the SearchLights on this mod.

what a guy is trying to eat pizza while nuking a nest cave, this mod is your best friend top 20 best mods ever.

@RabidAvali barotrauma update broke light system if you wanna light back you have to edit drone in sub editor, and uncheck "Hidden in game" Checkmark in every pulse laser cannon inside drone

Well i can answer you a few of your questions @LordDenda (Dendas)
1. Yeah these drones based on default game resources and count as shuttles so they are achiviement compatible
2. Drones with laser cannons use battery energy to shoot, they refill energy when they connected to the submarine via docking port, and energy on your sub must be turned on ofc.
3. You should know how to work in submarine editor, if you do then this is pretty simple task
4. Making drone components vulnerable probably just break drones and they wont work untill you buy a new one on Outpost.

Hello I have a few questions.

1. Are those drones achievement compatible?
2. How do I reload them? Is the loader located inside of the drone?
3. Is it possible to simply switch the laser gun for depth charge thrower?
4. I would like to turn off the invulnerability and interaction off. Will it affect the drones?

i apologize if this is a dumb question. how do i turn on the light on the drone? the lumen im driving does not have a light source it seems unless im simply not turning it on

@秋瞳風 上一个版本sb假鱼调整了物品交互逻辑，隐藏的灯光组件不会发光了，修复方法就是把灯光的隐藏属性取消勾选，然后把组件调成透明的就行
累了，已经不想碰这个游戏了

现在无人机不发光了 能更新一下或者告诉我怎么修复么

btw, i hate fake fish and their idea about changing something that is already considered "features" in the game, it has been 3 years that i've bought this game and they are still looks like in pre-alpha

The problem about the light goes out is caused by the last game update, which make the "hidden" light component's light, well, hidden. The solution is simple, just un-hide the turret and light component, and set them transparent

I have the same problem. Played for 2 years with the drones and they worked fine. Somehow they lost their light source even on my modifications (I used the lumen drone and modified it). No hance to get the light back on for me. I also get a LUA error if I load the Demo version. Can you help us out?

just in case you didnt know... your Drones somehow lost their LIGHT SOURCE ... so i have no SearchLight now on my drones :S only the faint glow of the GlimmerDrone which also looks a bit more dimmed.

weird bug... hmm, i wonder if i can edit/fix this myself and fix it by putting 2 SearchLights on each drone XD (in my custom submarine)

How do I connect one of these drones to the sub? I can add it to the submarine in the editor but how do I connect?

The guns. they provide the lights. unhide them and lower the transparency to 0 to get back the same effects.

@Nuke which parts specifically do you have to unhide now?

@Nezz, the latest update fixed a bug. if you enabled the "hidden ingame" tag, it still made the item's light visible, that apperantly was unintentional and this mod uses it.

You will have to edit and uncheck the hidden ingame tag and instead decrease the transparency of the guns instead to get the lights back.

Did the new update just remove the drone searchlights/spotlights or is that just happening on my end?

For some reason, the drones won't emit light. Not even the glimmer when it's supposed to illuminate the area around itself.

@Vullion, Did you copy the controls in correctly? I had similar issues when I first started using these drones, It could be something like that.

My drone just keeps going straight up, any reason for that? I've added in the priority items and components. Should I just make it those that are listed?

@ Hanling 一般來說不會，可能是有什麼mod物品會自動減附近物品耐久導致的，也有可能是performance fix導致的電路誤觸

待機的Radiant有可能被誘爆嗎?

遇過幾次莫名核爆，位置都在Radiant附近。
不確定其他MOD怪物造成的還是Radiant被什麼外力誘爆......

@Zeleand is the Glimmer drone supposed to disconnect from player when operated in field? I have no problem using its turret in the field but trying to "sail" it like a scooter makes my character let go of the drone in a couple seconds, with or without auto-follow enabled.

Otherwise great design. Mind if I add it to my custom solo submarine I'm working on?

@Zyleand, I asked before how you got the demo video in the description, you said to convert them to gif form(which I did), upload them to the gallery, and then use the [img] [/img] form. i uploaded the gif to my steam gallery and used the img form, but all i got was a little icon, then i looked at the "thumbs up and subscribe" gif and saw the its url was not a steam galley, so now im not sure were to upload the image to. you also said before "I changed those video into gif form and uploaded them to my gallery (I'm not sure is this the right name)" so im thinking there was maybe a translation error.

The 4th is a work in progress (or a WIP).

And yes, there are also 3 drones on the demonstration stand.

Apparently you misunderstood me. Because your answer is not the answer to my question. I'm asking a specific question. Why are there four drones in your mod build and three in the description? Again, there are four (4) drones in your build, 3 drones in the description. Your 4 drone is not working, it cannot be connected, why was it added to the assembly?
