after finding the eye and talking to the arch mage i dont get another quest, no mater how much i talk to the library guy the high elf never comes, has anyone else experienced this? if so, how do i fix?

Found the issue. it is when you use the power that switches firing modes, it creates a completely seperate staff that the game does not reconoize as the Staff of Magnus. tested this theory by using the stream version to no avail, swithced to bolt mode, and it works again.

I have already tried that, managed to fix it by going on a much earlier save which i haven't used the staff yet. now i'm having trouble to play skyrim and any other games on windows 10 -_-

kundra...hmmm, not sure about that, maybe try casting the brightflame a few more times elsewhere, if I recall right that might work.

So Zim, i really like your mod, one of my favorites and i use the full collection of the artifacts, the thing is i'm having a small problem with the Staff of brightflame , i have used it inside my windstad manor and targeted lydia which is my steward, then i fast traveled and returned to my home much later and now there is a ball of fire in the middle of the main hall and it's endless, can you help me fix it?

Toxic Riot...try typing "setstage mg07 50" into the console when you retrieve the staff

I'm still getting an issue with retrieving the staff itself. I loot the body of the dragon priest but it the quest objective to retrieve the staff is still incomplete. Any suggestions. I've even disabled the mod and rentered the dungeon, still doesn't work :-/ super sad, this is an awesome mod

[Chaotic Bonnie Lord]Nightreign2....no, basically...with this installed, it will be as if the original mod wasn't even installed at all, it will completely nullify it. This is useful if you're finding the staff is bugging out during a quest. that's why I call it a temporary fix.

So let me get this straight: If you get this mod along with the original mod, it will return the original stats, BUT you would still be able to change the damage multiplier etc. Is that correct?
