Yeah, that's because the trader was deactivated by the team at map start. Unfortunately there is no way to completely disable it once active and it need to be active at map start to enable this decision. That's why disabled trader means "out of reach".
So if you can't see trader arrows → trader was disabled
If you see trader arrows → trader was enabled

Nah it said trader is 300 meters away, without guiding arrows, and we only found walls in the way.

you can set this map with and without trader. It's a team decision if you want to play how you want to play.
Without trader you can find all weapons as pickups. You just have to be lucky and check the complete map for the weapons you want.

Well we couldn't find the trader after wave 2 and wiped, so...

I recommend the rocks close the skeleton for matriarch.

there is something i call "setup box" at the very start of the map. You run trough 3 different portals and depending on which portal you choose you set up your "config" ;-)
A bit weired i know, but this was the only method i know which is working also in multiplayer.
E.g. 2 player want day, 4 want night → The map will be set to night.

How do you control the parameters for trader, day, night, raged etc?

Sadly, we had to prepare a MAP between people we knew in advance.
It's a shame that we can't play together without manually downloading the server as well.
It is a shame that this will not be fixed until Halloween.

Well, singleplayer only maps are much easier to create, at least one good thing.

I recently tried to install around 70 maps on a server, and I get the same error.
So yeah is not the only map with this problem

It seems that this MAP is not the only problem.
When I set up a new server via SteamCmd all MAPs seem to become unavailable for download.
This is most likely a glitch caused by this update on the game side.

I try to reinstall the upload tool, maybe it got bugged during the update.

It happen the same to me, I tried to install it just for the web console to say

Downloading of other MAPs worked fine.

Did you try to add another map to the server since last update?
