For those who are still here: i created LIDAR completely from scratch, adding it to the sandbox mode. That is, you no longer need to change the gamemode and you can directly in the sandbox gamemode load duplicates, saves, spawn NPCs and everything else that you love to do! This is not an ad, it is simply the best solution, and yes: you can share your scans(i dont know who needs it, since i didnt add a dot editor).

@otaku Силуэт появляется при сканировании на правую кнопку мыши и когда он появляется, открывается терминал. В оригинальном дополнении не было возможности убрать это.

@Сапер Возможно что нет. Я долго не заходил в этот режим и поэтому не знаю. Когда я выпускал это дополнение всё работало нормально. Если найдёте проблемы - скажите.

@DreadHead Игроки и НПС состоят из одного вещества - плоти. Соответственно они красные, можно добавить их как белыми, это достаточно просто, загляните в код.

Почему НПС не могут быть красными, а игроки белыми?

@ZergSquad Только что проверил модификацию, оказывается это не декали, а меши и они собираются в стек для большей производительности. Может быть когда-нибудь обновлю эту модификацию, добавив туда конвару лимита.

Hello! I am the maker of the Lidar more Colors mod, and some people recently requested me to remove the red man / screamer.

I wanted to ask if you wanna do a crossover mix of our two mods. I'd basically just download your mod, add the material changes, and change something in the file systems so this LIDAR mod doesn't conflict with others.

Then I'd upload it and add you as creator and fill the description. I thought of calling it "LIDAR: Explorer's Edition". If you are interested, just accept my friend request, I am sure this mix would make a lot of people happy!

@ZergSquad По возможности постараюсь увеличить это число и выложить в воркшоп, скорее всего точки будут нагружать игру очень сильно, ибо это декали на текстурках.
Автор скорее всего постарался оптимизировать модификацию для более слабых компьютеров.

А есть способ увеличить количество точек? я так понимаю он с пестика просто частичками стреляет и они тип липнут к стенам?
А то прост раз 10 просканировал, а сзади уже начинает темнеть :)

imo jumpscares are just a cheap way to get players/viewers scared for few seconds for no f:ing reason.
I liked the idea of drawing the environment around you.
However, when I got to the game with the original addon, I didn't know about it being horror and I started hyperventilating, when I got jumpscared.
I actually got sad that the addon had jumpscares.
