Is it possible to switch things around for the logging to be done in winter and closed in summer?
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2826142323
the amount of wood gathered in those three forest areas is enough to sustain the cities needs, even over the winter period when the temperature drops too low.
I am using the fuel variant.
It looks wonderful, thanks for sharing.
However, I have included instructions on how to change the mod if you want to be "cheaty."
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\784150\2814533267\Managed\building.ini
Open the file.
Delete the line of code that says:
$SEASONAL_CLOSE_IF_TEMP_BELLOW 3
Then save it.
Thank you!

Was that not done in Europe?
1. Fuel version is good to be combined with your Wood Gas Conversion Plant.
2. Maybe it makes sense to create x2 larger version with same production but without temperature limits.
Thanks again for sharing. I like both variants, temp above 3c seems about right :)
But if anything, logging, and especially the transport takes place in the winter. The ground being frozen makes a big difference. In late winter early spring there's often great pressure to get as much timber by the most hopeless of dirt roads out of the woods as possible before the roads thaw and turn in to mud tracks. Around here anyways. Different climates will have different challanges.
And why is it closed in winter? Don't they cut down the forest in winter?
Logging goes on all year round. You can't plant seedlings in winter, but you can cut them down.
=)
Can you make a version of Sustainable Forest that works like the vanilla plantation game? (plant trees without workers, just machines*)
