On another note, I also found a bug where during the "10 years of peace" after giving supplies to a Drauven Outpost to hatch Terrorbird hatchlings, it looped the "successful hatching" event over 100 times, and placed an event marker to collect the hatchling on the space for every one, so that map tile is flooded with flags lol

Having the same issue as Kiki, but for my warrior. She is a 3 star legacy warrior with the Ravage, Ravage+, and Tail Smack abilities, and with my latest legacy recruit, has lost the abilities to move and switch weapons. Unfortunately, I'm playing on a Steam Deck, so I don't think I'd be able to do the dev mode fix proposed by the author, even if I knew how, as Steam is blocking the link due to thinking it's suspicious.

Short answer: If you enable dev mode (https://wildermyth.com/wiki/Testing) , you can add the aspect "heroicActions" to the affected character to fix their bugged state.

Longer answer: Are you able to join our Discord server to share a few screenshots of the hero's Aspects and History pages to help me diagnose what went wrong so that I can make sure it can't happen again?

@Ironskink - No thank you for addressing it so promptly. Please take your time, i appreciate all you're doing. So the game opens normally, but characters in the background are dressed weird/missing faces/naked and then when combat actually starts i can click the individual characters, but i can't attack, move or use abilities and i cant even see the option to do so.

@Londomo - Sorry to hear that the first round fix didn't do it for you, but thank-you so much for the mod list. I'll work through that and will find where the conflict lies as soon as I can - it might take me a few days, but we want the Drauven to be compatible with as many other mods as possible so I will definitely make sure to find & fix the problem ASAP.

And to confirm the problem that you're seeing, the game is actually crashing/freezing when Drauven are enabled along with all the rest of the mods, is that correct? Or is it becoming unplayable in some other way? And is the problem happening as soon as you try to start/load a game, or is there something you have to do first before it breaks? (Just want to make sure that I'll be looking at the right thing when I try to replicate it on my end)

@jaguarrach - Thanks for the report! Are you running Smoker's Expanded Traits as well, by chance? I pushed out a fix earlier today that was supposed to resolve some interesting interactions where that mod was causing an unexpected upswell in the Drauven population.

If it's still happening, could I trouble you to share some screenshots of the affected hero Aspect and History screens (preferably with the 'Show Hidden Lines' turned on for History, if you have devMode enabled)

Easiest way to share is through our Discord server, but if that's not convenient for you let me know and we can figure something else out.

A BIG update to how Humans and Drauven are separated just went out! As far as our own QA/Playtesting could tell, there should be no actual impact to your games, either new or in-progress, but please let us know if you notice anything odd!

Hi @Red SuperNova, this is an aspect created in this mod! I believe most newly generated Drauven PCs should get this tag automatically upon their creation. The only exception to this are Drauven recruited through the initial 'The Abandoned' quest line or Drauven PCs who were created many versions of the mod ago before this tag was created by us. In which case, once per campaign, a comic before a battle should trigger where a Drauven PC without the tag talks about their past and experience learning Yandric, and the Drauv will be given this tag immediately after the comic (however this comic can only appear once per campaign). Humans cannot get this tag, as it is assumed that they're already fluent!

@MajorMILFSimp - Just pushed a fix that should resolve any instances of the Naming Bug that were outstanding. A recent update to the base game made it possible for us to finally fix them, and with our latest release I'm pretty sure we've solved it on our side as well!

Please let us know if you find any remaining places where Drauven are generating without proper Drauven names!

Hi @Inkaral, thank you for reporting this! I think this a bug that is affecting the villagers/classless Drauven that you can get from a Drauven start campaign which we'll need to put on our bug list. Once you get into the campaign and your Drauven have gotten their class, can you confirm if you can place helmets on them after this? Additionally, I think the Stormthroat head is the only head that doesn't have some kind of headgear right now.

Found another issue. I think. Can't put helmets on new drauven PCs, though I have older ones with helmets. Dunno what's changed, other than maybe an update at some point? In other news, I did not know about the personality thing, and I see why I've been having issues there now haha.

@Inkaral I was able to get them to form friendships (default), rivalries and romances as any character would. You might just be unlucky since according to the wiki these are affected by their personalities (bookish, snark etc).

@Inkaral: Relationships should be able to form as usual, and if a Drauven and Human are in a romantic relationship any children they have should be randomized between being human or Drauven. Got my first two Drauven heroes and already loving this mod. They may not be as tanky upfront when compared to Human heroes due to lack of body armor, but make up for it with passive health regen and unique abilities that encourage more aggressive play.

@Vaporeon: "Love is in the Air" is known to prevent other wilderness scouting events, including "Abandoned" from occurring when enabled, but there may be others. Which other mods are you using?

@Bofrab: The main issue is that the first event in the quest line("Abandoned") is blocked from happening in All the Bones of Summer. Otherwise, we temporarily boost the event weighting and waive the personality requirements for the event to occur, so it should be very likely to happen in any other campaign where Drauven are present as an enemy. You pretty much just need any two (or more) heroes to scout a wilderness tile.

Since the second event in the quest line requires a hostile site occupied by Drauven, it's easier to get in a generic campaign where Drauven are the main enemy, and it should normally happen on the first hostile drauven site in the chapter after the one where you had "Abandoned" (I think 11 years need to have passed since that event).

@psionusoid What are the requirements for this questline to start? Like do I need a high amount of a certain personality or a certain class? (Like show Spell-Touched requires a Hotheaded Warrior and a Poet Mystic) Also I should probably mention I'm currently doing the campaign All the Bones of Summer (just started Chapter 4), and I don't use Love is in the Air, but I do have a couple mods that add more random events.

@Bofrab: Unless something is blocking it (e.g., "Love is in the Air" events), the first event will likely happen the first time it's possible, and the requirements are not strict. The second event is potentially a bit more rare, but the easiest way to make it extremely likely to happen is by doing a generic campaign with Drauven as the main enemy.

The new update wouldn't download, so I unsubbed and resubbed. That seemed to work, in that it downloaded something, but now I haven't got the option to add this mod in my game, even on a new profile.
