Realistic Population and Better Education Toolbar don't seem to get along. The school capacites show original values, not the calculated ones (vanilla or workshop). They're correct/calculated when placed, just wrong in the toolbar. Doesn't matter if Unlock All is enabled or not, though oddly if it's enabled -while in the game- (Game Anarchy) the toolbar shows the calculated capacities. Unfortunately it doesn't last. Save/load that game, and they show original numbers again. Not sure which mod is the culprit; posting this on both in hopes it's an easy-ish fix for one or the other (or y'all know each other ;) ).
p.s. NE2 isn't involved, I don't have it.

You proberbly have the Next2 road mod. These are conflicting.

None of my schools show up when I have this mod enabled. Only happens with this toolbar too

Y'all have something else causing a conflict or corrupted (try unsub/resub). This works just fine with Campus DLC and the education UI is unaffected.

It breaks especially if you have the Campus DLC, if you don't have that DLC you might be okay, depending on the outcome but usually the UI it self or the buildings aren't visible anymore, which is a major bug on this mod, So if you don't have the Campus DLC you might have a shot of the mod still working otherwise I do not recommend this mod sadly, This has so much potential though..

Removing NExt2 is not an option, as so many other assets rely on them!
Most of the intersections for example!

Independant of the quality of NExt2, it is not a good way in my eyes to not include support for the most used road asset, just because there is another, that hardly anybody knows?

I like the idea of this mod very much. but as I have to renounce most of the downloaded intersections (and maybe more), I am sad to say, that I cannot use it.

Maybe you could give it another thought, to support the (bad) NExt2, so that this mod fits in most cases?

@All that have blank panel ... just get rid of the outdated NExt2 and use this collection instead. All NExt2 assets work with this collection and the included RON mod out of the box, with the benefit of more stability and less RAM usage.

Network extensions conflicts with this. It causes this

Unfortunately there some nice older assets that absolutely require Network Extensions 2. It's down to choosing between them or this. Very close. This is a very nice Mod.

Literally doesn't work with NE2.

Can´t build education buildings. There is nothing in the school tab anymore.

I was not able to use this mod. I was running both NE2 and RICO. I uninstalled NE2 but it did not help the issue so I uninstalled RICO started a new game and this mod worked, i then reinstalled RICO and this mod still works.

This may help some who are still having problems with this mod.

For me at least it sure seems like it's NE2 thats the culprit (as usual) as soon as I deactivated NE2 the schools showed up again.

It doesn't work, the toolbar shows up with the different education icons, but no buildings are being displayed. Unsubscribing.

also not able to see schools with this mod enabled. keeping mod, love it, just disabling for now and hoping it will be fixed soon. thx.

NE2 works fine now, try to keep up.

Next time you start a new city 2 years ago you should have been unsubscribing from NE2.
Every network in NE2 has had a replacement on the workshop, for a while now.
NE2 has had issues, for a while now.
The authors of NE2 updated it for people with ancient saves or can't be bothered to use RON, the network replacer mod.

@t1a2l SO, you know the problem is with NE2, but you aren't doing anything to fix this mod?
Instead, you ask people to uninstall NE 2 with all the hassle that causes for existing saves.

Compatible with the Hotels dlc? Not one school is showing up any longer. Hope it will be fixed soon.

for me unsuscribing this mod and Rico resolved the problem with no buildings in the education bar.

I rather keep Next2 if you don't ming and do without this mod till its fixed.

Solution: Unsubscribe Network Extension 2.
Then the education panel back to normal now.

NExt2 is a great mod, with 1.2 million subscribers. It is decreasing a bit the memory requirement and improves performance. However, network mods are always risky since the roads are key elements of the simulation, but a network mod can cause other issues, too, like now.

This is why NExt2 is not included in the Hotels & Retreats compatible modlist.

RON and get rid of all next2 roads. your saved games will be appreciated
