Robert Montjoy, You have good ideas, but unfortunately I can't implement them. So far modders can't add texture brushes, new trees... It's better to contact the game developers with these ideas.

You asked for Ideas for future Mods:

I don't know if it's just me, but... I really find all Trees and Bushes in this Game outright ugly, they are far to big and by far to rough... they just don't look like Trees / Bushes. In fact, they do annoy me do they point that I quit playing. Is it possible do create some more realistic Trees? Please have a look at one of the many Pictures of Transport Fever 1 and 2 to see what I mean. These plants do look really good.

Another thing I miss in this game is a kind of brush to paint textures. E.G. A Brush with Cobblestone, Asphalt, Concrete, Dirt (you name it) to paint the Ground... easily and good looking.

I have no Idea from programming and the like so I don't know if above is even possible.
