Are you sure you looked at this MKII Version, not the old one?

The ships changed a lot from the photos. I last played the one in the images a while ago, and went to load and it's quite different. The big thing is the shield upgrade capacity is gone as best i can tell - perhaps there's a way to still squeeze these in?

Thanks! The one on the screen shot is a modification by Pxxlz. I am not sure what she changed, I think it also isn't on the workshop. I am currently not doing a MK3.

@Magicmud: There are a couple side rooms on the top level next to the core. Behind some shutters. Those are intended places for aux cores.

For CVs there are in total 6 different shield upgrade types. You can have at a maximum 4 of each type. The 6 different upgrade types fall into 3 different sizes.

Most appropriatly named, the smallest ones go by the name "Large Shield capacitor" and "Large Shield Charger". Just place those on the pipes in the shield room until you have 4 each in total. Note the ship comes with some of them already.

The next bigger ones are already huge in comparison and go by the names "shield capacitor Bank" and "shield charger Bank". Place one of each in the shield room, there is really only one position where they fit.

Hi Ente - doing some of the upgrades on the ship. Not exactly sure what "shield" devices you are suggesting by this (sorry pretty new player). -supports up to 8 'small' and 2 'medium' Shield Upgrades, (4/4/1/1/0/0). Could you let me know as I don't want to screw this up :)

Well there are already two ships in between the two: The Chimaera MK2 and the Tethys.
However only the Chimaera is updated for 1.8 already.

We need something in between the kronos and the Achilles. Absolutely love these ships by the way.

The very large upgrades won't really fit, the ship is simply too small for them. You could add a couple more mediums if you sacrifice the hangar, but unless you completely rebuild large parts of it in creative, thats probably it.

anyone figure out how to put a large shield in this?

Been using this ship for several weeks now and I absolutely love it. Made a few of my own modifications, adding more turret space and sacrificing some hangar space for additional shield upgrades, but overall this ship just ticks all the boxes for me. Looks amazing and performs well when used correctly.

Does the LCD saying "combat video feed ready" actually work for video?
