It would make the map cluttered which I didn't like when it had stuff on the ceiling and is why I made it empty and added the black hole. It is a good suggestion, but I don't think it would fit the idea I had. It might be just me, but I feel like the emptyness adds to the "dreamy" feel.

I would continue the road on the cavern's ceiling, where houses or buildings can hang upside-down and be accessible through ladders on steel structures, such as water towers or radio towers. You can include floating objects in between the floor and ceiling to add to its surreal atmosphere.
