@Cojiro he had to make some compromises in the way it works due to limitations in the game's engine - yes, it does handle a little funny but that's because he had to lighten the mass a bit to make it float properly (and yes, the real STRV 103 is amphibious)

@Cojiro, yes im aware, the way this is done means theres alot of stuff needs tweaking so the game would work nicely with it and it handles properly when player tries to use it, i just hope this mod will help others create their own tank steering vehicles lol

This is awesome! Only real complaint is with the speed/friction of it. It rotates extremely fast, and doesn't seem to have any friction as it never seems to slow to a stop on its own, which combined with the recoil from the gun sends it flying backwards every time you fire.

A reason why there are no battleship and cruisers in this game is due to lag. Try spawning a large entity in this game. You will lag hard even if your pc is pretty average. For submarines, find the big orange fishing boat in the sandbox map and break the deck and look inside, its filled with water even when there is no holes in the hull. That is one of the reasons why submarines dont exist, the inside would be filled with water anyway and u will also drown trying to submerge. There is an addon for torpedoes in the workshop if i recall correctly so have fun with that.

@Fondle A Cow Turretless design for tanks is actually pretty common especially more towards WWII. Tank destroyers are one example for turretless design. Just install warthunder and look at all the turretless designed tanks. It exists. This STRV 103 is based off the STRV 103 that exists in the real world so "its not realistic and not proper" doesnt make sense. Quick googling and checking the Wiki for the STRV 103 might explain why this tank was designed and produced without a turret.

no lol, as a matter of fact I have not. Secondly wouldn't it be better to make like modern battle cruisers? (Navy ships) Like a missile launch system, how has no one ever thought to make this? I see no designs for it, maybe like one but I'm not sure since there's no reviews.

We have Tanks, helicopters, jets, cars and motorcycles, but I take it that there's a problem with battleships or cruisers whatever they're called? Maybe too much lag? I have no idea why there's no submarines either, that launch torpedos at ships.

It's really cutesy but it's not realistic, I mean not proper....there's already a tank pack and it has a rotating turret that lifts up and down and everything. This looks like the tank was trying to be a tank but gave up. The only problem with the tank packs is that the shells are like gun bullets.

Ask whoever thought turning likes and dislikes into stars was a good idea. Mods start with 0 stars, at around 20-30 likes they get 3 stars, and 40+ or so it goes to 4 I think. Beyond that I have no idea.
