By "one" and "it", I mean this mod, the Andromeda one.

For some reason, one isn't working for me. The Milky Way Overhaul works fine, but even after unsubscribing, resubscribing, and deleting my cache, it still appears as the default. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

Triangulum would be great. I will explore more of game and give thoughts if I have any more, still new to game. Ty for the awesome mod

Not currently; I would like to release another update to this and the Milky Way one first, then idk, I'm open to ideas. Some people have suggested the Triangulum galaxy

Yeah, the galaxy is paler in-game than in the screenshots because I post process them in Photoshop, so that's why they look different. Still, by tweaking SE visual settings or processing your own screenshots you can get similar or better results.

@MrGost It's not purple in real life, it's not even very blue. Color in photos is mostly determined by processing.

can you make andromeda like more purple like the picturea

i wish there was a mod for the andromeda galaxy that was both true color and also looked as it appears from earth as it does in real life

Also very good. I think the spiral shape appears better now, which is also important. Of course, everything is very difficult to design, especially with the options available.

I updated the addon to SE 0.990.47.2015. I wasn't happy with how it looked before, so I revamped the texture for something I think looks better. Let me know what you think!

I think LMC and the SMC are a larger priority because i really dont like visiting them as the textures are very low res so I think they a overhaul before Triangulum

@Mutantbard64 I kinda like how the Triangulum galaxy looks already in the game but for the sake of it, I might do it one day. For now, I would like to polish the texture of Andromeda.

@N0B0DY Yeah, it's hard to distinguish the shape of Andromeda at the angle it is facing us. With the MilkyWay addon, Doc sent me an image with the basic structure of the galaxy, so it was easier to work from there. In the case of Andromeda, I couldn't find something similar (if someone does, please send it to me), so I had to work from imagination and from what I learned while working with the MilkyWay addon.
The first version of the MilkyWay addon had low-quality textures, but I agree that it resembles Andromeda. I'll look more into the topic and see if I can find useful info about its structure.

@wii1000 I already like the look of the Triangulum galaxy, so I won't probably make an addon for it. For now, I'll focus on Andromeda.

@WildSirius I think what HarbDawn wants to say is that although it looks very nice, it does not match the real-life one in appearance. And that the default model achieves this better. The problem is it is difficult to judge because Andromeda is facing us at an angle and it is difficult to accuratly represent it. Also Scientists claim that our galaxy resebles Adnromeda in appearance and since we are inside our galaxy and it is difficult to make out its shape, you may as well represent Andromeda in a similar way to MilkyWay which is what it seems (again according to my subjective judgement) you did here. Personally I think your initial version of Milky Way could have been used for Andromeda with some minor modifications.

@jeromy_liang I don't think my galaxy addons are up to SE standards to be implemented in the game (mostly in terms of realism). I just made these to have something I personally like more to look at while the SE team improves galaxies in the future.
