I can't find it in the ship builder.

tip: if you expirience lag when spawning this ship just turn "warp & reflections update interval" to off or low

I hope there are more Elite Dangerous ships coming to SpaceEngine - I would love to explore in my Adder soon!

Thanks, plz keep working on it, thank you soooo much

I think it's futile to compare ships of different franchises, I'd rather have them be as close to the original as possible, but I get what you mean, the Expanse ships I've got got 10 times faster acceleration than the Corvette despite being 600 years older lore-wise, not to mention the Star Trek and Star Wars ships on here.

However, yesterday I pushed an update with 20 m/s² hover engines, so atmospheric flight is now possible up to 2 g.

I can increase the warp exponent to 12 as well, so at 10 km/s (which is the physical velocity during the Warp To command) you'd go about a light year per second, that should work better for the actual warping part at least.

I've also just had a look at the Corvette's boost acceleration and it seems to be about 80 m/s². I might go for that instead or a value inside that range, maybe 50 or 60 m/s². That would push the warp acceleration time down to about two minutes when starting at 0, which is reasonable, imo.

i understand you try to make it Elite accurate, i had corvette, but in Space Engine the acceleration you add is very slow, you cant fly in atmospheres, acceleration for warp takes way longer

Um, I don't actually own a Corvette in Elite, so if anyone knows whether there's maybe a difference between hover thrusters and maneuvering thrusters there and what they look like, it'd be great if you could tell me.

@mMONTAGEe Yeah, I know. I'm not yet sure how to adjust them exactly.

20 m/s² forward thrust seems reasonable to me so far, since that seems to be about the acceleration in E:D and it's not too too high considering inertial dampeners don't seem to exist in E:D.

For hovering, I'm thinking about maneuvering thrusters kept at about 5 m/s² (maybe 10), but additional hover engines with 10 to 20 m/s² and their effects coming out of the existing maneuvering thruster ports.

It needs stronger engines hoenstly, its not capable of atmospheric flights and it's acceleration is too slow for SE

@cosby714 Thanks for the heads-up, it got messed up when I changed the ship length. Fixed now.

Oh my god this is amazing

There's a small issue, the RCS thruster effects don't line up exactly with the thrusters on the model. Minor gripe though, great work.

Awesome! Love both elite and SE. Hope we get even more beautiful E:D ships in future!

For those who don't want to grind to death to fly an awesome ship
