Go to your Garrysmod Folder (right click on the game in steam >> Properties >> Data >> search >> garrysmod >> backgrounds >> and delte the ones you dont want too see. For the custom Hud for the main menu im creating a seperatet addon if you like to use it.

He is asking how to set it as you did to be able to see the images, I downloaded the addon but the default images of the garrys mod keep appearing, and I want it to look like what you show in the images, I hope you can understand what I'm going
