Is this mod compatible with B42?

I did some basic testing. it says this mod on it so I'm assuming the coolers aren't being overridden by another mod. I grabbed a insulated backpack and some frozen vegetals. One bag into my pocket, one and the ice pack into the backpack, both thawed out at the same speed.

only thing that I can think of is nested containers, but I'd have to actually check

Weird. Maybe a mod conflict then. When you’re looking at the cooler, does it show any other mods affecting it other then this one?

I disagree with literally down there, I put an ice pack and some icecream in a cooler and it warmed up just as quick as if it was just in my backpack

no idea why everyone is saying its broken or dead, it works perfectly fine for me, the bags and coolers keep stuff hot or cold making long trips not so scary when it comes to food and such. truly a wonderful mod.

judging by comments and threads it seems like the freezing/fresh food functions of the mod don't work and it's mainly just a nice container that keeps things cool or hot but no more? i suppose CoolBags is the best alternative

how do you make an ice pack? i remember it requires any plastic bag or garage bag but it doesnt show the options here

Anyone know if insulated backpacks work? I tried leaving some frozen stir fried food and lotsa ice packs in it, but it seems to not have slowed the freezing process at all.

any ideals if this mod works with carry more stuff (poet) and Improved backpacks?

Confirm its working, but I think the the ice pack melted rather too fast, you'll get your hands full just to refroze them again and again. And it doesn't keep frozen food frozen for longer, tested already with ice cream and bunch of frozen meat, the rate they're getting melted are the same as when you put them in ordinary bags

Have you considered adding an ice pack that can be crafted. It is very useful when everything are extremely rare.

Coolers are invisible when attaching it to a backpack using noir's attachments mod, it seems to work fine outside of that.

How you guys can do this ? i just putting the item in red cooler and i don't see it getting red to be hot (same as cold one)

Great mod! Could you extend the duration of the ice packs at all? I find when i load up an ice pack 100% frozen, by the time I get somewhere and actually need to use it, the ice pack is unfrozen. Not sure if it just uses the games vanilla unfreezing time. Also a mod that adds a heater that uses propane or gas would be awesome for winter. There isn't any mods currently and the only way to get heat in winter currently is antique stoves, campfires, etc.

Hi, I'm looking for a solution to the fact that frozen things still thaw out and go bad if they're sitting in a room that's below 0c I'm not finding a mod for that, and thinking I might have to make one and I felt like you were probably the best place to start for the information.

Added to 41.68MP at our community's request, basic test seems ok, will try to get some admin time to spawn and test the cooling functionality. Until then, sub'ed, liked, and faved.

Strange ... I haven't noticed the issue, but I don't use a ton of mods myself. If you find any correlation let me know. I've not had a lot of time to work on these mods as of late, but I've by no means abandoned them.

Did you freeze the icepacks first?

Do you have to have the cooler actually equipped for it to work properly? I found a cooler, and, even after filling it with multiple large ice packs and frozen food, everything thaws out just as fast as if it weren't in a cooler... I don't have it equipped, though, so I was just curious if maybe that was why? I love this idea, and I hope I'm just missing something simple as to why it doesn't seem to keep anything colder for longer for me! Ty :)
