@The Shit Slinger, this mod is already shipped with ASV platform, so no need to enable it with ASV.

I am struggling to get this working for the ASV platform 40k mod, any tips? I've followed the installation guide and the AI isn't spawning units. Thanks.

@WesTaR, тут вам надо самому разбираться, посмотрите, например, как сделаны "версии" бота для разных модификаций (ссылки есть в описании). Там ничего сложного нет. Также посмотрите, какой бот сейчас установлен в Cold War, может быть, вам уже не надо ничего "адаптировать".

@WesTaR, не знаю, я занимаюсь только поддержкой для ASV. У Cold War была своя разновидность этого мода, сейчас что с ней я не знаю, ботом у них занимается свой человек. Вы кроме этого что-то еще узнать хотели?

@cjprince, you can filter out artillery guns and trucks by putting them in black list of unit parser. Ai cant handle art. guns.

@cjprince, Valour has year tiers written up in unit names so the ai can't spawn e.g. 1943 units in year 1945, but it is trying to. I knew about that problem but i wanted you to figure it out by yourself :). You can make a compability mod (separate Bot Revised version) if you want to.

@cjprince, comment in bot.data.lua says that "set" folder must not be archived. If command prompt windows are present then the mod is working but parser can't read units from files.

ok remaining issues are
- ai aryllery guns, at guns or machineguns do not move from where they spawn
- empty trucks drive straight at the enemy and die

set both up, and a lot of command prompts show up now, but they close instantly, and AI is completely inactive, so it isn't working yet

trying to get this working with # v a l o u r but there is too many .rar files to extract set folder from HELP i don't know what to do, most .rar has a set folder and there are almost a hundred of these .rars!

@Millz, check log file to make sure that, probably, script cant read units from .set files. If that is true, make sure that .set files exist in specified path and they are readable for script. Also you could make a mistake while editing .lua files, log file will tell you about what went wrong.

I can't get this to work, I edit bot data and add my mod folder name where required but it just doesn't seem to spawn any units.

How do we get the AI to use support weapons properly?
For example the AI will spawn AT guns and mortars but never moves them from the spawn point.
I am wanting to tell the AI to send them to captured flags but I'm not sure how to enable that in the scripts.

@Mark汉斯, you can use this V2 version to run with WW3, but you need to manually set it up. Also you can use V1 version, which is not yet updated to V2, without any problems.

@DevilDog, Robz has different army's units structure: units stored in folders that named after their army, so you need to manually set script to read units from %current_army_name% folder .set files. ASV WH40K has similar army's units placement so you can take piece of code to handle this from it's bot.data.lua file.

@Khorne_Berserker, я посмотрел, в случае с Cold War еще нужно выбрать файлы, которые скрипт будет читать. По умолчанию читаются "squads.set" и "vehicles_"..army..".set". Вместо них нужно написать readSetFile(path.."units_"..army..".set", purchases, army)

@Khorne_Berserker, you need to simply change variable ModFolderName in bot.data.lua to name of the folder that you need. If the "set" folder inside Cold War is archived (stored in gamelogic.pat), you must extract it. Shortly speaking, goal of this procedure is to specify path to files for parser to read units from.
