Das wäre toll wenn du das hier einarbeiten könntest. 🙂

Nein, ich könnte aber auch mit Erz und Stein arbeiten

Gibt es die auch mit Erz und Stein?

what mod do you use to build narrow gauge train tracks?

Cheers Mad Hatter! Love your work mate!

the vanilla game will do that on its own now. You shouldn't need a mod for it. (I don't/hve never used the increased capacity mod so I can't give you an answer really.) however what I can say is that if you have a mod that 'mucks about' with vanilla station settings and then you reconfigure the station it is possible that there will be a difference in how it performs especially if Urban have changed their code as well.

Is it possible it's due to a mod that several people use which lets you expand the capacity of stations using additional buildings?

To those reporting issues with capacity when placing these coal tracks.

Track config on its own has no effect on station capacity.

Station capacity is controlled by a variable called cargocap. the value of this is set by the platform that you place next to the track and is exactly the same regardless of track type. It will also change for some platforms if you place station buildings. This is all controlled by vanilla code in the game. The effect of station buildings on cargo capacity can be mucked up if someone's mod overwrites the vanilla version. Modders shouldn't do this but some don't understand and do it anyway. This mod does not touch any vanilla code.

Just to prove to myself there wasn't anything weird going on. I ran a little test with no mods and checked the capacity and behaviour of a vanilla station. Then I added this mod replaced the tracks in the station and reran the tests. I was not surprised to find that the results of both these basic tests were identical.

Just to confirm, I've found the same as ATAG_Wolf below.
A standard station of any kind for me, using your coal track, will half the capacity.
Mad Hatter  [ophavsmand] 8. maj 2022 kl. 4:38
That is very strange. I have to say I can't see how that happens - but I will have a look

is it a Bug? when i use your track with a station that is two cargo platforms deep it limits to just the track side cargo. So if I have station 80m long and two p[latforms deep I should have capacity of 240, but when I change to your tracks I am limited back to 160.

THANK YOU!
Stealthy 14. mar. 2022 kl. 12:47
Fair enough. How about just getting rid of that shine then? :)
wolfel666 14. mar. 2022 kl. 11:48
Great stuff. I love it, many thanks!
Mad Hatter  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2022 kl. 11:15
@Stealthy - can't make the grass grow, the sun shine, or the rain fall.
These require god like qualities that I don't possess. ;)
Stealthy 14. mar. 2022 kl. 8:04
As a request: Ballast mod without that terrible shine on ballast texture please. And something which grows grass and shrub automatically, if possible at all.
MonkeyFuzz 14. mar. 2022 kl. 4:48
Only in the most tongue-in-cheek way :) It's awesome to see tracks reflective of spilled cargo, but now I feel like I need to vacuum
Mad Hatter  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2022 kl. 4:29
Not entirely sure how to take that ;)
The mod like many was done on request and setup as asked for.
MonkeyFuzz 13. mar. 2022 kl. 19:39
Oh, man. What a mess!
