Would greatly appreciated a 3.5 update if possible.

Any chance for a Banned 3.5 version?

Thanks!

Yes, I just haven’t updated it yet because Civil Wars is not updated

Hey Chastity, do you think this is still compatible with the current version of Banned! and Empires Expanded? I looked at the files and it seems like it should be, but thought I'd ask just in case.

This mod and Banned would already be incompatible with the Ethics mods unless support was added, and I can only support one at a time. So that’s not really a big deal

might have to be wary the compatibility with E&C alternative doesn't then make it incompatible with the other E&C forks (E&C bug branch, E&C classic, and probably more) due to the faction details differing between each.

then again, if anyone else makes a patch only for banned and one of those other forks, it would maybe be able to overwrite this one without issue, assuming only the new factions were touched in that hypothetical patch.

I did... I guess I should not have edited the description before I updated the mod...
MrFunEGUY 11. mar. 2022 kl. 20:51
Awesome! You can probably add ECA to your supported mods then. Thanks.

Ok, so I copied the scripted triggers, static modifiers, and socialist/capitalist factions into the mod. Also I made the factions produce unity instead of influence. For obvious reasons.

Alrighty, thanks!

Yep, you can check out my patch here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2181323883

You also need to add some static modifiers and edicts for the factions, I believe, but you are free to take my code from my patch. I've already done all that.
Chastity the Celibate  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2022 kl. 16:18
If that’s how it works, I’ll add compatibility. I’m just assuming I’ll copy the banned code and apply it to the new factions (it’ll still require Banned obviously)
MrFunEGUY 11. mar. 2022 kl. 15:59
Well, the factions wouldn't appear because the new ethics wouldn't be enabled if you didn't have the mod. At least, I'm pretty sure.
Chastity the Celibate  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2022 kl. 12:37
Unless I can make the factions existence conditional on a mod flag
Chastity the Celibate  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2022 kl. 12:37
If it involves new factions I think a separate patch will have to be made
MrFunEGUY 11. mar. 2022 kl. 9:31
Yeah I'm unsure. I'll take a look later. It's more just adding support for banned to the two new factions, I believe, but there are likely other modifications.
Chastity the Celibate  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2022 kl. 8:56
@MrFunEGUY, it depends on which factions they modify. If they modify the same factions as Empires Expanded or your mod, then merging the files would make one or both mandatory, unless the changes are purely new faction demands. Part of the charm of this patch is that Civil War/Empires Expanded are optional, though I can make a separate patch if they do modify all of faction files (as I expect from such ethic mods)
MrFunEGUY 11. mar. 2022 kl. 8:21
Nice. Any chance you could add support for Ethics and Civics Alternative?

It would make it so I have one less patch to update, haha. Appreciate the support for Civil Wars.
