Thanks for making us pretty in game again

Hi Manic, I was just curious if you could do a request? Ive been trying to do it but when it try and change the south slavic martial gear to what the english culture uses it dont work. Im trying to keep their civil cloths but change the martial clothing

Would it be at all possible to only have the northern indian portraits be modified? I actually quite like the southern indian portraits and would rather they wouldnt be changed. Thank you!

Good rework for indian portraits

Good morning! Cam you add any people in province Halder (it's more up, then Bremen and near Elb). Because in start 867 there isn,t any ruller here.

Latest ones are excellent quality, thanks for keeping this game alive

UPDATE: Skin colour of North and South Indians made darker. Will probably make adjustments in the future, especially for the South Indians, to make the shading/reflections a little more natural. For those who preferred the original tones, I have included an alternate version in the updated non-Steam version of the game which you can use instead.

Made some additional tweaks to beards and hairstyles to make them fit the new faces better. Some hairstyles for North Indian females remain a little misaligned, will fix in the next update.

@Pycoeb: You cant be any more racist. :P

@ManicMayo you should make darker only dravidians (south indians), because they are not aryan and in reality they are dark like modern indians. Aryans on north are good. But thank you anyway for your portraits, i use only them now.

@Pycoeb - Thanks! Although you should be aware that I will be making them darker in the next update. Don't worry though, I'll include the current skin tones as an optional extra in the non-Steam download folder.

@Kag - As I said to another user below, it's because the facial assets I used were designed for paler skin and thus they start loosing a lot of their features and look really bad if I make them much darker. I plan to try and tweak them a bit in the future, but they'll probably continue to look paler than they would be in reality.

I absolutely love the idea of re-using the clothing assets with new faces, but these guys look really pale :(

bro you're an absolute legend, I already used your other mods but I've been playing in india and it's painful with how ugly they are in vanilla. you make some of the best mods out there especially since they're achievement compatible. massive respect

Gotcha. Female south indians appear to have their assets mismatched at the moment, like heads floating out of center

@Krulltak - No reason, just how they turned out. I will probably make South Indians a shade or two darker in the future. I think the North Indians are fine as they are.

One problem is that, since the assets I used were designed for fairer skin, a lot of the details like wrinkles etc. become invisible if I make them much darker and they end up looking like smooth, featureless aliens.
