Ah, this mod is now included in the base game, you can achieve the same result by using the Decoration "Hide original block" function on the APS mantlet blocks (This was possible before but did not hide the entire mesh, and still left a huge portion visible.). This mod is no longer needed. As for the download issue, I have no clue. I used the in-game modding tools, and I am not sure if the structure of game file changed sufficiently to cause that issue, so I am afraid I will be of no help on that front.

There may be something seriously wrong with this mod... :steamsad:

I definitely have this mod subscribed. However, it does not show up under Mods > Download > Subscribed mods. Instead, it does show up under Vehicles > Download > Blueprint workshop as "APS CIWS Mantlet USS Johnston DD-557 ". And if I try to download this mod from there it pops up with a major Error window:

"Caught error trying to load file as a json blueprint. Let the developers know about this workshop entry and we can try and fix it."

Do we need to manually install this mod somehow? If so, then why wasn't this mentioned in the description?

Thank you for the help! I believe it should have an image now.

Your mod may not get the attention it deserves if it is missing a thumbnail image on the mod overview/browsing pages. It looks good, so that would be a shame.

Here's an old Steam discussion topic that explains how to add a thumbnail image to a From The Depths workshop item that was uploaded without one: Workshop upload bug . But, as I do not have any From The Depths workshop items, I can not test to see if this method still works.

If not, using the SteamCMD (or Steam Console client) is capable to upload workshop files via bash/cmdline (typed commands with arguments). You can access Steam Console by putting " steam://nav/console " in your browser. However, this method is complicated. Here's a topic on how to do it: How to update your mod's thumbnail on Steam Workshop using SteamCMD [ludeon.com]
