The plane crash can happen during any point of the finale, it's chosen at random on map spawn.

- when you activate the fuel pump
- a timer between 10 and 300 seconds
- any of the Tank events
- any of the finale pauses
- escape start sequence
- outro cutscene

If you're gonna change when the plane crashes at least have it happen in the middle of finale than the end.

I definitely like the update, especially the final chapter. It's a little dark, of course, but fortunately I have your old version of the map (one of the first versions). I like it in general.

idk if someones asked this already but, do you plan to make a "scriptless" version of your previous modified maps? (No Mercy, Crash Course, and Death Toll), as well as make Modified Blood Harvest, and even a modified version of The Last Stand and/or The Sacrifice?

well, i dont know how to send screenies on steam; i barely comment, but i can provide a list of the stuff here;

for the missing textures; behind the C130 escape vehicle (looking out from the saferoom, so to the c130s right) there's this heap of wrecked planes. beneath the planes themselves (primarily the back-end of some passenger airliner for this mound), there's a pile of some kind, i can only assume its rubble, but it appears as a missing texture. there's other spots where the missing textures appear, but this is the biggest, and most noticeable.

textures are missing around where the saferoom to the airstrip finale is, i can only assume it's some kind of rubble texture?

i have zero texture addons, all i've got are playermodel addons and fixes for playermodels, then the rest of the l4dm maps.

If you can show me what textures are missing I may be able to help.

As for the bots ignoring items, this is now fixed. Grouped trigger_hurt brushes were marking the starting area as 'DAMAGING' resulting in the bots ignoring items.

I'm getting the missing textures in the finale too, and I don't have more than one thing in my add-ons folder at a time.

Also, at the beginning of map 2 bots don't grab anything from the safe room. In fact, they won't notice or pick up anything until you climb into the hotel/apartment.

@anklu Ah no dude you’re fine, it was just really funny, me and my friend were dying laughing and made a whole inside joke about it, it was really memorable for me actually and special haha. I understand the balancing though of course, it shows a mature design mindset from you, which is awesome

The defibrillators won't spawn as often anymore, I've replaced the L4D1 map parameters with the L4D2 versions now with the latest update, so item spawns will be more balanced.

@Total_Failure - No debris pile models have been modified on this campaign, and all works well on my end (with no other addons enabled). Try disabling any HD improvement addons or any conflicting addons to resolve the issue.

this is really good, my friend. i love how the place crash happens randomly, which is not only just a pretty cool detail, it makes for some hilarious moments, such as an entire horde of commons getting eviscerated by the plane (true story.) I also like the increase in difficulty. more people live in cities, meaning there will be more people getting infected and becoming zombies. no mercy is in a city, but that was canonically 12 days beforehand, so it makes sense that it is more difficult. 18/20 amazing mod

I will increase the spawn range for the rooftops in the next update, and could also increase the wandering density but that will be in a few days as I am focusing on updating the other campaigns at the moment.

Hey,

In the greenhouse and the rooftop outside I marked those areas as empty to prevent infected from spawning there as the TLS L4D1 infected models cause a stutter when they first spawn (this applies to any map that uses them). During the intro cutscene the stutter was quite annoying which is why I choose to empty the greenhouse, and a couple of times the infected would try to break down the door before leaving the safe area. The point past the plank crossing the rooftops is where infected begin to spawn.

Regarding the infected spawning in large groups, this was increased intentionally as they are usually so scattered the map would not feel as populated. Another factor is the 'spawn range' which was decreased in that area due to the rooftop areas being small to begin with. When you pass the doorway after the one-way drop the spawn range is increased for the street outside the hotel.

on the first chapter, usually the infected spawn in the greenhouse first but this time they spawn outside (idk if you intended this or not) but they spawn in like large groups rather than scattered around like usual and they seem to do that a lot especially in small areas which cause a bit of lag
